It makes me so happy to announce that registration for the 2027 Running Up For Air Malans Peak race opens TOMORROW! February 19th & 20th, we’re heading back up and down and up and down the mountain for another full day of climbing, community, and doing something good for the air we all share. Whether you’re coming to run your first lap, challenge yourself for 3, 6, 12, or 24 hours, join a team, volunteer, or simply be part of the magic, there’s a place for you here. Every lap matters. Every person makes a difference. AND every dollar we raise goes directly to supporting clean air initiatives locally through our charity, Weber State Sustainability. @wsu_sust Go to: runsignup.com and search: Malans peak. Here you can register to race or sign up to volunteer. My incredible team of @monicalynnlee @mus.keep.running @brandon_p_musgrove @andrea_nye & @sianiw_ will be back for our EIGHTH YEAR! We sure hope that you’ll be there too! 👋🏼👋🏼👋🏼 #raisetheRUFA #trailrunning #makeadifference #run #raceday by @wsu_sust

Ogden is expanding how we track and share air quality across the city. 🌤️ Using donated funds from the 2025 Running Up For Air Malan’s Peak race, four new air quality monitors have been installed at locations throughout Ogden. These monitors track PM 2.5 and PM 10, giving residents access to more localized, real-time air quality data to help make informed decisions about daily activities, especially during poor air conditions. You can explore the data anytime using the Tellus AirView map, link in bio! More monitors will be added this year using 2026 race donations, continuing to strengthen Ogden’s air quality network! @runningupforair @runwithtara @wsu_sust #OgdenCity #OgdenOutdoors #AirQuality by @wsu_sust
Food Recovery Friday ♻️🍎 Not every win needs big numbers to matter, this week, we recovered 91.52 pounds of food and gave it a second life in our community. That’s 90+ pounds of food saved from going to waste and instead reaching people who can actually use it. Real impact, real change. Sustainability isn’t about perfection, it’s about consistency. And week by week, we’re making it count. Stay with us as we keep turning surplus into support 💚 #FoodRecoveryFriday #WSUSustainability #FoodRecoveryNetwork #ReduceFoodWaste #CampusSustainability #FoodJustice #wsu by @wsu_sust
