✨Let’s meet the team✨

I’m Jada, mother of one, a doula, Community Health Worker, and yoni steam facilitator. I am also the owner of @motionsofserenity ❤️

Supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum is more than just my work. It is a calling that allows me to walk alongside families during one of the most transformative seasons of their lives. I believe every family deserves compassionate, personalized care that honors their unique journey and empowers them to make informed decisions with confidence.

My approach blends evidence based education with holistic support to create a calm, nurturing space where families feel heard, respected, and supported. Whether I am providing labor support, postpartum care, or wellness services, my goal is to help families feel empowered every step of the way.

When I am not supporting families, you can usually find me making memories with my son, creating herbal wellness products, spending time in nature, working out in the gym strength training or practicing mindfulness through yoga. These moments help me stay grounded and bring the same sense of peace and intentionality into the care I provide.

Birth is just like life. We are asked to surrender, trust the process, and move through each moment with courage and grace.

It is truly an honor to support families as they welcome new life, and I look forward to being part of your journey.

✨Welcome to The Branches of Birth! I’m Asyia, the owner and lead doula, a proud mother of two, holistic healer, and your dancing doula.✨

Supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum is more than my career it’s where I feel most at home. I believe every family deserves compassionate, personalized care that nurtures both emotional well-being and physical health. My approach blends evidence-based education with holistic support, creating a calm, empowering space where you feel heard, respected, and confident in your journey.

When I’m not supporting growing families, you’ll often find me in my garden. It’s my place to slow down, reconnect with nature, and find the same peace and grounding I strive to bring into every birth space. Just as a garden flourishes with patience, care, and the right environment, I believe families do too.

Whether I’m helping you prepare for birth or supporting you through labor my greatest joy is being present for one of life’s most meaningful transitions. I look forward to supporting you and your family every step of the way.

MARCH is where my heart still lives. Spent the weekend at the Black Midwives Alliance Conference teaching AI For Midwives and I left completely restored. We covered 6 topics
1. What is AI
2. Healthcare Now
3. The Research
4. Prompt Writing
5. Business Tools
6. The Vision
This work isn’t about the technology. It’s about making sure Black midwives at every level elders, students, peers have access to tools that can move our practice forward even if they are a practice of 1. My favorite moment was helping my elders turn on read-aloud in on their phones, that IS the work
An MPH student told me she cited me in her paper. I almost lost it. @ariseblackmidwife doing exactly what it was built to do support black student midwives. The @thecyphercollective for curating the FIRST EVER BLACK MIDWIVES SKILLZ AND DRILLS
And @nationalblackmidwivesalliance for bridging generations, and making sure our community isn’t left out of conversations that affect our futures.Getting to sit at the feet of those who came before me AND pour into my peers in the same weekend? Thank you 🫶🏾 by @xclusivevis
