Spending weeks overseas can be physically and mentally demanding, and having a comfortable place to come back to at the end of the day makes more of a difference than I ever realised. Feeling thankful to @athlete365 and @airbnb for this grant. It’s given me a little piece of home while chasing my goals abroad. 🤍 #Athlete365 #AthleteLife #HomeAwayFromHome #Grateful #RoadToExcellence by @xiuhong
Super overdue post (still trying to work on my perfectionist tendencies 😭), but I finally decided to share some of my favourite moments from competing in Germany. I’ve been coming here to compete for so long, close to a decade maybe?? It’s such a strange feeling - the familiarity and a quiet sense of comfort in a foreign place. Not sure how many more chances I’ll get to come back, but it’s always such a joy to compete here. 🤍 #vsco Cooked a little more here due to our special diet requirements 🫢 Glad that there’s quite a few meatless options in the supermarkets! Spring season in Germany are one of the prettiest ☀️🌼 Ngl, it’s been a struggle for quite some time. But sport has a funny way of reminding you that growth isn’t always obvious. Sometimes you have to slow down to rebuild, revisit the basics, or simply learn patience. I’m still learning that taking a break isn’t falling behind, even though it often feels that way. This season hasn’t gone the way I hoped, but I’m holding on to the belief that every setback is teaching me something I’ll need later. by @xiuhong
Just me trying to come down — not just from the adrenaline, but also from the disappointment of today’s competition. Found myself reaching for my safe space — the people who always know how to calm my mind and make everything feel a little lighter 🤍 Spent the evening slowing down, watching the sunset, listening to the birds, and just allowing myself to be present for once. Grateful for the balcony (and feeling lucky to have gotten the first floor) at the accommodation. Having a quiet space to unwind and be close to nature is the best way for me to reset mentally and recharge for the next competition 🌿 #recoverymode by @xiuhong
Counting my blessings while I still can, reminding myself that this is enough. by @xiuhong

SEAGames’25 I know failure is part of the journey, but it still really hurts to be defeated 🥲 Gonna take some time off (finally 🥹 after a whole year of grinding) to recover physically & mentally, and come back stronger in 2026. Super thankful for all the encouraging friends and acquaintances who’ve been checking in and sending messages along the way - I really appreciate it! 💗 PS: Gonna miss the sounds of my teammates playing Overcooked 😂 by @xiuhong
What an absolute honor to be part of Singapore’s 60th National Day Parade 🇸🇬 Attending this Diamond Jubilee celebration as a Team SG athlete has filled my heart with overwhelming pride. Being invited by Sport Singapore to be here as a national athlete - knowing that my job is literally to represent this incredible country on the world stage - made today so much more meaningful. Happy 60th birthday, my home! 🎉 PS: Sharing some of my favourite moments from the parade in the slides ➡️ love the patriotic auntie with 4 flags stacked up 😂 #NDP2025 #SG60 #TeamSG #Singapore60 #ProudSingaporean #SportSingapore by @xiuhong

Had such a great time shopping and playing games at @hfapparel.sg first store opening! I’ve been a huge fan of them ever since I bought their first ‘cooling’ shirt 😂 Love supporting local brands and I am excited to see them grow even more! by @xiuhong
