POSTS STORIES REELS

I figured it was probably time to properly introduce myself…Hi. I’m Kallie (aka “Golfer Gurl”). 👋🏼⛳️💋

When I started this account, I honestly had zero intention of putting my face on the internet. It was mostly just a joke because everyone in my life knows one thing…I’m objectively not a very good golfer 👍🏼.

But thanks to all of you - friends, family, and a whole lot of strangers who somehow enjoy watching me duff shots and celebrate pars like I won a major - here we are.

My golf story is pretty simple. After becoming a mom (including having my first during COVID), I rarely took time for myself. Golf gave me an excuse to leave the house, spend a few hours outside, challenge myself, learn something new, and have something that was just for me.

Now, I love that it’s something I look forward to - whether it’s time for myself or time on the course with my boys.

As for this page…we’re still figuring things out as we go 🙃. In the meantime, I’m here to: document the good shots, the bad shots, the funny moments, and everything I’m learning along the way.

And if one day you see me partnering with @gfore @pingtour @badbirdiegolf @highnoonsunsips @forethegirls_golf @wmpeyewear @adidasgolf…just know I’ll probably be crying happy tears, because I’ll feel like I’ve officially made it. 😂

Until then, I’ll be here with my polo zipped all the way to the top, trying to break 50 (on 9 holes…🤭).

Thanks for being here. XOXO, Kallie 💋 by @xoxogolfergurl

In my feels as another summer of Ladies League almost comes to a close. 🥹⛳️

A few years ago, I was a mom of two little boys who rarely left my kids, rarely did anything just for myself, and had quite literally never played a round of golf.

Then some #golfergirl friends (shout out @_triciadell & @stacycason) - and Mr. Golfer Gurl 😘 - encouraged me to join Ladies League.

They told me to stop saying sorry. They celebrated my good shots, noticed my progress, celebrated the little wins that felt big to me, and laughed with me through it all.

They never made me feel like I wasn’t good enough to be out there. They made me feel like I belonged.

And somewhere along the way, the girl who had never golfed before became the girl counting down the days until Ladies League...with a golf @instagram account 😅.

So to every woman I’ve played with, learned from, laughed with, celebrated with, or who has encouraged me along the way - THANK YOU. You are what keeps me going.

And to any woman reading this who has ever said, “I wish I played golf, but I’m so bad” or “I’d love to play, but I don’t know anyone…”

Show up nervous. Tell them you’re new. Stop apologizing for your bad shots. You don’t have to be good at golf to belong in golf.

DO IT. Join the Ladies League. I promise, you won’t regret it. 👯‍♀️⛳️💋 XOXO #GolferGurl by @xoxogolfergurl

Cheers to the wives entering their post-Men’s Invitational era. 🍸 The real winners? The wives who made it to Sunday. We did it, Joe. We did it. 😂 XOXO #GolferGurl ⛳️💋 by @xoxogolfergurl

OUT OF OFFICE 💌⛳️💋

TL;DR: (Nobody cares, but…) I’m taking a little Instagram break. Don’t worry, I’ll be back! 😘

Full Version: This one feels a little bittersweet. 🤍

What started as a silly little idea to document my very beginner golf journey turned into something I never imagined. A creative outlet, a welcoming community, new friendships, incredible brands, and SO many laughs along the way.

Golfer Gurl has genuinely brought me so much joy. But somewhere along the way, something shifted.

What started as a fun distraction slowly became another thing on my never-ending to-do list. Another reel to create, comment to respond to, number to check, or algorithm to keep happy.

And honestly? I don’t love that.

I started this account to have FUN. Not to chase views, followers, or spend my free time glued to a screen. And lately, life outside this little corner of the internet has needed a lot more of me.

So, I think it’s time for Golfer Gurl to hit the reset button. 🔄

Not because I’ve run out of ideas (trust me, I have SO many), or because I’m any less excited about what this could become. But because I never want something that brings me joy to start feeling like something I have to do.

To the amazing brands who have gifted products, collaborated with me, and supported this little adventure — THANK YOU. 🫶 Please continue showing them love! Visit my ShopMy link in my bio, click their links, and support the brands who have supported me.

And to my 1.3K followers, friends, and family who have laughed with me and cheered me on all summer — thank you for making this so much more than just a golf account. 💕

I’m proud of what I’ve created here. But sometimes you have to remind yourself that you can love something and still need a little space from it.

This isn’t goodbye for Golfer Gurl. It’s just see you soon. And when I come back? I’ve got some things up my sleeve. And it’s going to be GOOD. I promise. 😉
