Wake Up is everything to me, when I had the idea in 2022 I always wondered how I would get this done, or where I would even start from , but to be able to do it twice in a year without a team it’s honestly a blessing. This is just the beginning, there are still so many talented Nigerian artists that deserve a platform to showcase their work and that is the vision of Wake Up, to showcase as many as possible 🩷 Special thank you to my dad, uncle ,Angles and Muse, Oche, Lotanna , all the amazing artists who listened to my idea and decided to participate, Tosin for the sick sick billboard animation and all my friends who have continued to support me, could not have done this without you! Till the next one⭐️

“Nicely captured” 2026
Nicely captured tells the story of being stuck in an uncomfortable situation which unfortunately you benefit from, it is a reflection of my love and hate relationship with creating for other people. The song blade bird by Oklou, played a major part for inspo on this piece. The song talks about the pressure to choose between love and freedom which was something I resonated with a lot especially when creating.

This was my exhibition piece and it has been sold by @y2kprincess3
