Boxing comes down to habits. When you’re in the ring, everything moves so fast that you don’t have time to think you’re naturally going to default to whatever you’ve practiced the most.

That’s why drill sparring is essential. It lets one boxer sharpen their offense while the other locks in on defense, building muscle memory under real pressure so the right habits become automatic. by @yahirn09

Two years ago, this young man walked into the gym and no games, no excuses, just pure work. I still remember the Mexico flag design on his gloves and how he’d show up every single day in a soccer jersey (90% of the time a chivas jersey🔥).

When he stepped into the ring to compete, the titles followed immediately. He never backed down from the toughest matchups or the biggest challenges. Whenever he hit a roadblock or took a lesson, he didn’t fold or switch coaches he just came back hungrier and harder.

He once told me he was going to fill the walls of this gym with championship banners. In two years, and he just brought home his THIRD championship. I can say he is a man of his word. Couldn’t be prouder of you, Yayito. Keep building that résumé. #HomeGrown #NationalChampion by @yahirn09

🥊 CLEVELAND, WE’RE COMING.

This week, Diego, Yahir, and Grizzly are heading to Cleveland, Ohio to represent Jose Morales Boxing Academy at the USA Boxing National Open Tournament.

We know the work they’ve put in. We know what they’re capable of. Now it’s time to go handle business.

Three warriors. One mission. We’re coming home with the wins. 🏆🥊
