Some say the Buu saga had some of the best animation in Dragon Ball Z. We got Yamamuro in his prime, alongside other amazing animators whose skills really shined during this saga.

Personally, I still think Goku’s Super Saiyan 3 transformation episode was absolutely epic, and Majin Vegeta vs. Super Saiyan 2 Goku remains one of the greatest fights in Dragon Ball Z. by @yairsassonart

Perfect Cell x SSJ2 Gohan by @yairsassonart

The longest fight in anime history (I think)
SSJ Goku vs Frieza. by @yairsassonart

The Frieza Saga will forever be my favorite saga.

What I loved about it was that we had multiple storylines at the same time. Vegeta was on his own, trying to get immortality and find a way to defeat Frieza. Gohan and Krillin were searching for the Dragon Balls, trying to survive the Frieza Force and helping the Namekians. And of course, we had Goku’s journey from Earth, until all of them finally met during the fight against the Ginyu Force.

I loved jumping from one storyline to another instead of everyone being in the same place all the time. It made the whole saga more interesting

Also, this drawing is a throwback. Hope you like it. by @yairsassonart
