THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME

JOHN CENA

In no way am I exaggerating how much of a dream come true this was for me.

I got to spend a solid amount of time in a private meet and greet before the show started and I can't tell you guys in words how surreal it was meeting a "character" that's been a part of your life for 20 years.

I told him about the toys I had, the edgy internet phase I had where I found him corny, the appreciation I grew as a young adult to crying at the gym in 5AM during his retirement.

I even got to show him my old 2012 house show highlights you guys have seen me post before from the first time I saw Cena in Abu Dhabi.

Easily a top 3 day.

MY GOAT 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️ by @ycollects

The MEFCC 2026 Ultimate VIP experience.

Many have asked me if it was worth it after pulling the trigger for the first time after so many years and the answer is... 🤭

Before the official start time on Saturday we got to experience a private meet & greet with the full celebrity lineup. My biggest flex is that (after the convention team, securities, and agents ofcourse) I was actually the first *customer* to meet John Cena. Milking allegations be damned I am NEVER shutting up about this 🗣️

After our time with goat was over we went in a circle as groups and met Arden Cho (Rumi), Charithra Chandran (Princess Vivi), Jacob Romero (Usopp), Mackenyu (Zoro), Shameik Moore (Miles Morales) Pom Klementieff (Mantis) and Joonas Suotamo (Chewbacca)

How's that for algorithm keywords 😂

Another massive benefit to being in Ultimate VIP was getting fast tracked to the front row of John Cena's panel.

I got selected to participate in the Q&A and as much as I wanted to break the rules and film it 😭😭 I felt that living in the moment was better.

Of course this mf is too PR trained and didn't answer shit not even my question about CATERING of all things 😂 still the 🐐 tho.

I think Ultimate VIP with John Cena as the headliner is the perfect experience to scale back the conventions and spending that come with it. "Retirement" is a dramatic word but I feel like after 15 years of going to cons, meeting your dream M&G guest with the highest priority possible there, what *is* there left to do 🤔 let's see where 2027 takes us 🔥 by @ycollects

WE'RE GOING UP UP UP ITS OUR MOMENT 🎶

YOU KNOW TOGETHER WE'RE GLOWING, GONNA BE, GONNA BE GOLDEN 🎶

We met @arden_cho aka RUMI FROM KPOP DEMON HUNTERS

A full week end of "grown ass man btw" BULLYING from y'all but tell me the photos don't go hard 🗣️🗣️🔥🔥

Honestly Arden Cho was so cool. We had other celebrity meets planned but decided to scrap a few and get a picture with her instead and I'm very glad we did.

Obviouslyyyyy we had to pull up with the belt it's become tradition now. @emilysteaparty last year, who else next year ⁉️⁉️

We will be seated for KPop Demon Hunters 2 by @ycollects

It's hard to fit into an IG caption how special this past week end was for me getting to meet an industry icon and the voice behind my favorite character in fiction; Ryusei Nakao the voice of Frieza from Dragon Ball for the last 30 years.

The Goku vs Frieza arc was the first *real* storyline I remember getting hooked on back when Budokai 1 on the PS2 (my first game & my first console) dropped and to this day nothing has hit me as hard as that final battle ending with the first Super Saiyan transformation.

The actual meet was wonferful; they let me get a custom quote after they stopped allowing them because you could see the stupid wide grin on my face, he asked to see my hoodie and told his translator to tell me he thought it was sick, and we got an imromptu photo from one of the stanby photographers (thank you hoodie).

From a collector standpoint there are so few Ryusei signed items online (I scoured the internet for a source to pick my colors and couldnt find ANY) this might be my rarest & most expensive item to date.

Thank you @jpexme for the incredible opportunity and im glad I got to share this with my best friend.

STAR WARS: REVENGE OF THE SITH 25TH ANNIVERSARY JAPAN CELEBRATION EXCLUSIVE POSTER SIGNED BY *THEE* ANAKIN SKYWALKER *THEE* DARTH VADER *THEE* 𝗛𝗮𝘆𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗻

I don't normally dedicated solo main posts to my collection pieces but this... THIS is an exception.

When he was announced as the headliner for the 2023 edition of MEFCC, I unfortunately wasn't exactly used to "exatravagent collection pricing" (well call it that) and missed my chance.

Well almost 3 years later I can finally say I got one of my most wanted autograph pieces from my all time favorite movie and it is NOT a Funko pop 💀

Big thanks to @lara_a4 for going to con after con after con in my place and thank you again to @monopolyevents @comicconscotland for the opportunity 🙏

1 down... 1 to go 😈 by @ycollects

We have returned with quite the collection piece today:

A signed Spider-Man 3 poster by horror icon and director of the best Spider-Man trilogy (argue with the wall) Sam Raimi.

Recently Ive been hoping to see more director and developer guests so I jumped at the chance to secure this bad boy from @galaxyconlive

Now we just need the GOAT Spider-Man (argue with the wall) Tobey Maguire to pull through 👀

We also have a new addition to the comic collection: a Midnight Spider-Man #1 cover variant by @leeinhyuk at @mcmcomiccon

Honestly one of the most gorgeous autographs I've ever seen 😮‍💨🔥

@scottscollectables has not let us down yet and this is another beautiful addition to the growing comic stack.

Of course as always none of these unique non-anime pieces would be possible without @lara_a4 con hopping on my behalf 🙏 by @ycollects

"Do what must be done Lord Vader. Do not hesitate. Show no mercy."

Months of planning my Anakin Skywalker commission, organising with my other Star Wars fan friends, the over stimulation of MEFCC day 2 was all worth it to pull off this one shot.

The main inspiration was artwork of fully Armored Darth Vader taking on multiple Jedi at once but I wanted to portray Anakin immediately post heel turn.

Do look forward for the rest of the photos to hit the timeline soon 🔥 by @ycollects

Like I wasn't going to main post about meeting actual AVENGERS on day 1 of MEFCC 🔥

The very first interaction of the weekend, before John Cena, before the cosplays, before even seeing my friends was getting to meet @simuliu aka SHANG CHI 🐉🔥

Now I'll admit at the risk of sounding like a larper I've yet (emphasis on YET) to see Shang Chi and the Legends of the Ten Rings HOWEVER I grew up with Gambit as one of my favorite X-Men and they will be going head to head in Avengers: Doomsday 🔥 that was part of why I chose to meet Simu with my tickets.

The other was also to tell him about one of my best friends @nafiha.psd and her love for Kim's Convenience. While she couldn't make it she did help me source down all the merch on a day's notice and I wanted to let Simu know he had a fan tucked away in Dubai for his non MCU work.

W Nafiha in the chat 🧕🏽

I said Avengers PLURAL because we also met @pom.klementieff who plays Mantis in the Guardians of the Galaxy.

No solo photo sadly but we do have the big Ultimate VIP group photo (stay tuned for that 👀)

Ended day 1 with a sick double signed comic with both Mantis and Shang Chi front and center but it's not a YCollects experience if at least one of my autos doesn't get hoed by my pen choice.

See you guys at Doomsday 🔥 by @ycollects

"TASTE DIVINE FURY! " *VWOOOM*

My day 1 @mefcc cosplay and my official debut in the @uae_cosplayers community as Super Saiyan Rose Goku Black from Dragon Ball Super.

Dragon Ball characters are NOT easy to pull off but I think we did more than okay if I say so myself 😤😤

Big thank you to @greenmoment for going above and beyond photographing me. I've always joked about "one day I'll pose for you and be in your dumps" and I'm very glad we finally crossed that off the bucket list.

Of course we need to spotlight @isolaitionn for the fabulous wig and @mosta.aj for the insane prop.

A few hiccups along the way (no contact lenses 😞) but I had such a blast. The prop was a massive hit with the kids and I was asked about the wig twice as many times as I was asked for pictures.

Successful debut 🔥 by @ycollects

Appreciation post for all the lovely peeps I finally got to catch up with and even then there's HUNDREDS of people missing.

Mosta gets top billing for killing it on the prop.

It was bumpy road to @mefcc but now that it's over I'm in "take me back" mode.

Not to get too sappy on main but I very much appreciated how many were happy to see me as I didn't think I was very in touch with the community but that is for sure changing soon. Already brainstorming what I want to work on for next year's MEFCC.

Again there are SOOOOO many people missing that I would have loved to take pictures with so if you're not in this HOUND ME NEXT TIME 🗣️🗣️

I even got my first picture with a few people in the John Cena selfie. Mega flex. No I'm not done milking meeting the GOAT.

Stupid tag limit means I have to shout out more people here: @ineoslayer @anas.tam10 (everyone knows who you are you don't need the clout) @mohammedjamal99 by @ycollects

"No, the galaxy belongs to ME now! "

Official sneak peak into my @mefcc cosplay as Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader 🔥

I wasn't planning on posting anything on main but the reception was incredible and I am a man of the people.

I assure you I am not done cooking yet... Stay tuned 👀 by @ycollects
