Rakija connects people…but it was the people of Serbia who connected me to rakija, and more than that.

I’ve always respected the fearlessness, courage and strength I’ve seen here.

Standing with this crowd, I’m more impressed than ever.

An historic win, organized over time, against odds and achieved without violence.
I hope this is a turning point for Serbia.

It’s an honor to share a small part of all that you have to offer with the rest of the world.

Let’s gooo!! by @yebiga_rakija

Ladies and Gentlemen, behold the New York City Team Handball Club, USA’s #1 handball team...and the first US handball club EVER to play in the Belgrade European Masters tournament, an event which took place in Serbia this week, featuring 28 teams from 9 countries.

The boys called on Baba Power for this battle and Baba answered. After a long weekend, they walked away as CHAMPIONS...and apparently Baba’s newest adopted grandkids.

Bravo Guys, you did this with serious intent and massive hearts

Yebiga salutes you! by @yebiga_rakija

Your dog doesn’t need to drink rakija to live the Yebiga philosophy.

Good taste. Questionable decisions. Unconditional loyalty...TO GOOD FOOD (!!)

Just like you.

Don’t miss out on Yebiga merch — whoever, whatever, and wherever you are in the world.

A rare family portrait.

BELA. PRVA. And KLEKA—which has been a little harder to find, but not for much longer.

There’s a Serbian expression, “Treća sreća” which roughly translates to “third time’s the charm.”

But we would also like to add: when you do things the right way, you make your own luck.

Three expressions of rakija. One tradition. No problem! by @yebiga_rakija

Čačanska Rodna — Look at this plum!!

With color like this, it HAS to taste good.

And if you know how to work it, you can capture all of this beautiful character.

Work with good ingredients, and try to stay out of nature’s way...that’s the real secret. by @yebiga_rakija

Balkan ingenuity: even if some tools are not available, the job always gets done.

No idea if rakija was involved in the work, but there is little doubt that it made an appearance when the work was finished. by @yebiga_rakija
