Just finished my first quilt using my dad’s old oxford cloth shirts as the fabric. The squares are 6” x 6” finished, and the whole thing is wonky as all get-out, but I love it, and I’m ready to keep going. Worked on it off and on all summer—it was a true meditation. My father rarely got rid of anything and I found a whole stack of his shirts, all with blown out cuffs and collars, that he had kept in a cabinet. Thank you, Dad (1935-2023). This one is for me. #quilt #firstquilt #sewing #quilting meditation by @yelladogpress

Buckingham & York, first six months! Buck is more poodle, and York is more sheepdog, and we found out they were both more fur than anything after they got their summer cuts.
