Remember the Eyeconic moment @wizkidayo was asked by @itsnadiajae to choose between Burna or Tems?😂🤣😂 I decided to make a 3D animation of the GOATed moment.
Interviewers can be so tricky mehn! But again, Surulere, Ojuelegba is one thing Machala🦅 don’t joke with😂🤣🤣😂

Who dey breath!!!
So I finally decided to bring my stylized 3D @davido to life.
A lot of work has gone into this but it’s been equally fun expressing my talent and also learning in the process.

While we’re anxiously waiting for @davido
I decided to animate this bars on bars interview he gave on @ndanitv
You can’t be an Afrobeats fan and not love Akpatakpiti.

Council of the Big Cats 😎

I made a quick Eyecon animation of the Big boys. @wizkidayo @burnaboygram @davido and Baddo.

Hot thrones & Leopards circling

The concept behind the thrones and having fire burning underneath them is to show how difficult it is to remain at the top.

And the reason for using leopards instead of tigers, lions or jaguar is because Leopard is the only Big cat that is native to southern Nigeria where the Afrobeats Big cats are all from.

A quick artwork but a thoughtful concept as always… 👌🏾

Here is a breakdown of the process of creating the @wizkidayo and @mrmoney eyecon animation that I made a while back.
Creating something original from Africa isn’t just fun, it’s one of the few ways to show that Africans have the cognitive capacity to make these for of arts without relying on stolen works masked in filters and presented as Generated “art”

One of the most beautiful things about making animation is the collaborative nature of the process. It lets you experience first hand, the human intelligence.

Bit and pieces of different kind of talents being contributed into creating a work that becomes a whole, and at the end of the day, you can see the beauty of your work while also vividly appreciating the genius of others who made it become a reality.

Slowly, we’re getting to the finish line. Don’t forget to support our campaign using the link in my bio.

Definitely one of my favorite shot so far from the Oruko animation project 😎

Do well to save and support our campaign.

Thanks

One of the beautiful songs we’ve made for the Oruko project. This is the voice behind the Yemoja/Yewande soundtrack @its_elmorijah

Making something original isn’t easy but if it’s easy, it’s not art. Art is human expression. Art is a gift from life.

Check out our Kickstarter prelaunch campaign page and make sure to save the project so it reminds you when we launch.

Here’s another cut from the previous video. Here I’m discussing the reason I decided to go for a monster version of Yemoja. If you notice from the scale, the Yemoja character is well over 40 feet in height. An apex.

Kindly spare a few minutes to use the bellow link to save the project on Kickstarter so it reminds you when we launch. Thanks.

A little behind the scene of one of the most important environment model in Oruko. The “National theatre”.
We’re building enough 3D assets that we can decide to further make a game out of it but that’s a discussion for another day.

Bonus. I recently made that sculptural work you see on the side and it’s now my favorite art because it reminds me that being an artist goes far beyond tech. It’s a calling.

Happy independent day Nigeria!

One of my major influences for the Oruko project was the excitement we get as kids when we know we’ll be going on holidays to see our grandparents in the village and how some of us will gather around them to watch them tell us stories 🥹. Beautiful memories…

Attached is the link to our Kickstarter prelaunch page. Kindly save our project and support us when we launch.
Thank you!
