BORN TO BOOGIE!!!! IT IS HERE AND IT IS FOR YOU!!!!! The album is out! Wherever you get your tunes, vibrations, premonitions, etc !! A couple quick notes, this LP has been in the works since 2024, we have been writing, recording, rewriting, rerecording, lamenting, pondering, laughing and drinking our way to this spot and it feels so good to share this set of songs with you! It is an honor for this album to be put out through Cam’s wonderful tape label @theapartmenttapes . Cam has been a believer in this band since we first met playing the Iguana House and his support, friendship and energy is something that I hold in very high regard and with so much love. Also we want to say thank you to Patrick (@midwestern_dirt) I (Griffin) was considering throwing this record in the bin before I sent a rough version of it to Patrick. He had so much excitement for the record that it got my head right and got the album across the finish line. For more reasons than there are words, he is is one of the best souls around. Go out and enjoy this record, it was a real trip making it , thank you for listening, caring and being here. Infinite love and groove!!! XOXO Griffin and Gabe PS NEXT LP IS BEING RECORDED by @yinwaster
IT IS HERE AND IT IS NOW !!!!! Our new EP “Practice The Art of Fire Safety” is out now and ready to be played wherever you get your tunes. This project was written and recored over the past year or so in our apartment “ The Rock and Roll House” in Chicago, Illinois. We really love these songs and hope you dig them too. They came in-between a lot of small moments and fell out of guitars and conversations with dear friends, strangers, mirrors and such. The cover photo was taken by Gabe in Philadelphia last year when we rolled through to play a show. We almost called it “Beer King” for the store across the street from the sign. As always, we deeply, deeply, deeply, appreciate your support and we hope ya dig the tunes love love love and see ya soon!! NEW MIDWESTERN DIRT ALBUM OUT NOW!!!!!! Today the new @midwestern_dirt album “The Evening” is out everywhere! I love this album/band so much, it’s hard to fully articulate how excited I am to have this set of songs finally out in the world for people to enjoy. We recorded and produced it ourselves in the fall and winter months of last year and it was one of the most fun and fulfilling experiences i’ve had while putting together a project. Truly a work of passion, friendship and rock n’ roll. A few moments I want to highlight as personal favorites The bridge on “Prince Edward Island” everyone is going full bongo brain and I love it “Slow Dream” I get to be David Gilmour for like 10 seconds “Dennis and Kim’s Wedding” maybe one of my favorite songs i’ve ever played on. It makes me feel like i’m Little Steven and Patrick is Brice Springsteen. “For Nelson” @owenhem is one of the great songwriters and being able to play on one of his many great songs is the honor of a lifetime. Thank you for taking the time to listen/read!! We will see you 5/30 at lowdown for the rock and roll extravaganza of the season! I hope you enjoy the album!! Danny’s First Beer!!! Now and forever !!!! Our new single is out !!!! I wrote most of these lyrics while on a beach in Chicago(Montrose I think) in 2024. I was at the time, and still am, obsessed with the John Cale and Eno collaboration record “Wrong Way Up” and was singing the opening verse to “Lay My Love” over and over and started making my own lyrics and things quickly started altering, expanding and getting louder. Give it a rip and dip and sip wherever you get ur tunes via @theapartmenttapes , we hope you dig it!!! See you on the 23rd for the rest of the album and the record release show ! Thank yoi @kahzlo for picking number 2!! — #newmusic #garagerock #love #rockandroll yeahman by @yinwaster
