The Youth Medical Association, founded in 2022, is dedicated to providing youths with guidance and opportunities in the fields of medicine and research. Beyond medicine and research, we work to offer our members opportunities in various other career fields, such as business, engineering, and computer science. Our organization had the honor of working with the Office of the Mayor, Columbia University, Mount Sinai, the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York University, and so much more. At YMA, we foster a welcoming community of dedicated, passionate individuals. Our wide variety of opportunities range from teams that credit members with service hours to university visits and beyond. Join us and passion, perceive, and pursue today. https://youtu.be/gPOapocRJEk #YMA #research #medicine #fyp #youth #summer #opportunity #business #computersci #engineering #ecs #college #highschool #opportunities #servicehours #nhs #community #premed #nursing #science #extracurricular by @yma_intl

It is with great pleasure that we share the Youth Medical Association’s success as its first year as a Youth Leadership Council with the Office of the Mayor. YMA had the honor of showcasing at the Summit with the Office of the Mayor last Wednesday. YMA, founded in 2022, has come a long way and advanced internationally in the last 2 years. Its commitment to providing youth with opportunities and fostering a community of like-minded individuals has been evident. This year alone, we’ve organized over ten events at leading institutions, including Columbia University, NY-Presbyterian, Mount Sinai, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and New York University. As YMA continues with its journey, we take time to appreciate the little successes as we continue to Passion, Perceive, and Pursue. by @yma_intl

YMA is partnering with a local youth women’s organization to make blankets for patients at Shriners Hospital.
This is a great opportunity to earn service hours while spending the afternoon with friends and making something that will directly benefit patients in our community.

You do NOT have to be a YMA member to attend! This event is open to all high schoolers/middle schoolers, so please feel free to bring your friends, classmates, sisters, or anyone else who would like to participate. Everyone is welcome!
Parking is in the back of the building, accessible from Maple Street
Please bring your own service forms.
You also do not have to stay the entire event. If you can only come for part of the afternoon, that’s completely fine — stay for as long as you can!

RSVP by August 20th —> DM @saanvii_s13 on Instagram or email saason843@fusdk12.net.
