The Lord has spoken, and the harvest is ripe.
But this time, we are taking a journey to the ancient landmarks.

We carry one message, one truth, one glorious consciousness:
In Christ, Yahweh has become our Father, and we have become His children.
And so, we are carrying this consciousness like a fragrance, from one school to another, from one child to another, until the knowledge of the Father fills the hearts of children across Africa.

We are going back to the ancient paths, raising children who know who they are because they know whose they are.

I visited this school today to seek the principal’s approval for our upcoming “PAD A GIRL” outreach project. After meeting with the management and successfully fixing a date, I was already on my way out when I suddenly heard them singing “Baruch Hashem.”

I had rush to the class, and honestly, it was such a beautiful and heartwarming sight 😍

I’ve already promised them that @dunsinoyekan will see this.

And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children.
Isaiah 54:13

The Lord has placed this burden within our hearts,
and by His grace we behold a rising generation
firmly rooted in truth,
fully conscious of God as Father,
and awakened to Jesus as their Light
in a dark and uncertain world.

We see children and teenagers grounded in identity,
anchored in love,
strengthened in discipline,
and illuminated by Christ.

By His help, it shall be so. by @yoav.africa

We ourselves feel that what we are doing is just a drop in the ocean. But if that drop was not in the ocean, I think the ocean would be less because of that missing drop. -Mother Teresa

The other day at the Orphanage with my colleagues 🤍 by @yoav.africa

Today, we are shining the light on a man whose life, ministry, and unwavering devotion to Christ continue to inspire generations.

Charles Haddon Spurgeon, fondly remembered as the Prince of Preachers.

A man whose words carried the weight of Scripture, whose heart burned for the Gospel, and whose faith extended beyond the pulpit into practical acts of love.

Beyond preaching to thousands, Spurgeon established an orphanage in Stockwell, London, providing vulnerable children with shelter, education, and care. He understood that serving Christ was not merely about proclaiming the Gospel, but also about reflecting His heart through tangible acts of compassion.

He also established a pastors’ college to equip men for ministry, leaving behind a legacy that reached far beyond his lifetime.

What inspires me about Spurgeon is the reminder that the Gospel we preach must also be evident in the lives we touch. His life was a witness that sound doctrine and practical love are not opposing forces. They belong together.

At YOAV, we desire to raise a generation that knows the Father, walks in His truth, and becomes a light in its own generation.

May we never be content with knowing the truth alone. May our lives become living expressions of the Christ we proclaim.

This is YOAV WITNESS. We remember the lives that went before us, learn from their devotion, and carry the light forward.

INTERNATIONAL DAY OF THE GIRL CHILD

Today we stand for the girl whose education is threatened by poverty, whose childhood is being taken away by early marriage, and whose voice is silenced when she tries to speak up.

We stand for the girl living with a disability, the girl without adequate parental care, the girl who has experienced abuse, and the girl who is beginning to believe that her circumstances have already determined her future.

We stand for her dignity. Her safety. Her education. Her voice. Her future.

But beyond the celebrations, We believe our advocacy must translate into action. Girls need more than motivational speeches. They need access to education, menstrual products, healthcare, protection, mentorship and adults who are willing to stand up for them.

As we mark International Day of the Girl Child, our question is simple:

What are we doing to make life better for the girls we celebrate today?

Every girl deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, feel safe and become all she has the potential to be.

Today, and beyond today, We stand for her.

#DayOfTheGirl #GirlChildAdvocacy #YOAVAfrica #PadAGirlProject by @yoav.africa

The girl child deserves more than a day of celebration. She deserves a world that protects her childhood, values her voice, invests in her education, and gives her the freedom to become all she was created to be.

From the girl forced into marriage to the girl denied an education, from the girl suffering in silence to the girl whose dreams are limited by her circumstances, we must do more than speak about change. We must become part of it.

A girl child is not a burden, a bride, or a lesser human being. She is a life full of possibilities, and she deserves the opportunity to fulfil them.

Today, I celebrate her. Every day, I advocate for her.

Happy International Day of the Girl Child. 🧡

Tonight, we gather from different places, with one heart and one sound, to stand in the place of prayer for children across Africa and the generations to come.

We believe that prayer is one of the ways we partner with God to see His will established in the lives of children, families and communities.
Come with a heart ready to intercede, believe and contend for what God desires to do. by @yoav.africa

THE STORY BEHIND THIS VISION:

I know what it feels like to be a girl and have to think too much about your period.

Growing up as an orphan, my period was not always a simple part of becoming a woman.
It was something I had to think about.
Do I have enough pads?
What happens when I run out?
Who do I ask?
Can I afford to get more?

Sometimes, something as ordinary as menstruation came with a lot of worry.
And as I grew older, I began to realize that I was not the only girl experiencing this.

There are thousands of girls who miss school because they are on their period. Girls who use unsafe alternatives because they cannot afford sanitary pads. Girls who quietly endure discomfort, embarrassment and shame simply because they were born into circumstances they did not choose.

That is why we started Pad a Girl.

This time, I am hoping to reach 1,000 girls across Ondo State, providing them with menstrual hygiene supplies for three months, while also taking menstrual health education and medical support into schools and communities.

We can not do this alone so if you feel led to partner Comment PAD I will send the link to donate to you!🧡 by @yoav.africa

_____
I simply cannot wrap my head around the fact that anyone would knowingly go ahead with marriage when they understand that their union carries a significant risk of bringing children into the world with sickle cell disease.

All for love? Love?

When your child starts going through painful sickle cell crises, that “love” will be the first to leave the room.

Motherhood is already hard enough. Now imagine knowingly bringing a child into the world with a high risk of living with sickle cell disease. That’s a nightmare I cannot wrap my head around.

And don’t even get me started on some “Christians” who keep saying, “God will do a miracle.”
I hope you don’t start doubting God’s existence when Wahala begins.

Don’t call it faith. If you deliberately ignore what you already know and expect God to override the consequences of your choices, you’re taking a gamble with a child’s life not just your own!
