POSTS STORIES REELS

I’m back in the 805 after touring for most of the year. Between middle of February to middle of May, I was only home 2 or 3 weeks. I haven’t posted a ton on social media because I’ve been focusing my energy into creating art, performing, touring, and my personal health and relationships. Time away from technology is incredible.

I made this video at the top of the hill of one of my favorite roads / mountains passes. In some ways, Cowpoke is a good way of describing my life as a traveling musician. The land I’m standing on has so much value, and so much of my time in my twenties was spent exploring these beautiful mountains and oceans. Catch me at @paliwineco in Santa Barbara funk zone today, slinging tunes from 2-5pm.

“druG RUN” part 2: my love for psilocybin mushrooms and hatred for modern american addictions

“Cattle Call” inspired by Eddy Arnold’s version. Full video on YT and Tok. I filmed this in October at some random park in Rochester, MN while I was touring with my good friend @austinskaleckimusic. This is one of my first videos that ever blew up on the internet, and now I am sharing it with you folks here on IG. Cheers!

Being a professional upstairs neighbor at the @nwportlandhostel and playing my psychedelic oriented tune “druG RUN”

Portland has been fun! One of the best parts has been all the wonderful people who’ve supported me during my stay. Both shows were a great time, and I’m absolutely keeping this city on my radar. Thank you to all those who came to a show, clapped a bit, danced, tipped, said nice words, chatted me up, gave me a place to stay, cooked food, bought me a drink, etc. Nothing short of good energy on the PNW!

Tonight I’m performing at @ilwacocidercompany 7-9pm in Ilwaco, WA
Tomorrow I’m performing at @claim52brew from 6-9pm in Eugene, OR
Tuesday 10/20 I’m at @silvermoonbrewing in Bend, OR!

See you folks on the road!

THANK YOU to all the folks in Point Arena who came out to my show Saturday and Paul at @therecord_pub for booking me! Ya’ll were a great audience, and I can’t wait to come back. Here’s a clip of me going a little unhinged on the ending of my original song “by my side”. The last few shows of this tour have been wonderful, and it’s the small efforts from a collective of individual humans that make the world as beautiful as it can get.

Thanks to all who come out to my shows or provide any support to me in person or on any platform. For now, I’m mostly a one man band, and the last string of shows have been nothing but uplifting to what I’m capable of performing when the energy of the crowd stimulates me forward.

I have a few more shows left on this short tour up the PNW! Come see the yodeling and psychedelic bluegrass ballads in person at one of these following time space events:
THU 10/15 Portland, OR @stardaytavern 7pm
FRI 10/16 Ilwaco, WA @ilwacocidercompany 7pm
SAT 10/17 Eugene, OR @claim52brew 6pm
TUE 10/20 Bend, OR @silvermoonbrewing 6pm
FRI 10/23 Walnut Creek, CA @mikehessbrewing_walnutcreek 6pm

PORTLAND SHOWS!!! This coming week, I have two shows in the beautiful city of Portland.
First off, I’ll be the showcase musician at a really cool open mic and absolute gem of a stop - @nwportlandhostel !! This is going down MONDAY 10/12. Signup starts at 5:45 and music is at 6:30. This is a great way to not only experience the psychedelic bluegrass yodeling frequencies i emit in the flesh, but also a chance to emit your own unique frequencies in front of fellow humans. Come share your music or just watch me and everyone else!
THURSDAY 10/15 I’m at @stardaytavern with @wolf_truck_cow_punk and Joel Hixon - I’ll be taking stage sometime after 8pm.

“like a rose”

This is a guitar break and verse to a song I wrote a few years ago. it’s a bluegrassy high and lonesome kinda vibe. It embodies the life and death of a rose, and draws a comparison to the feminine. Each verse references my experience and appreciation for the women in my life and a correlating stage in life. Honestly, it’s just a song, and i like songs. This is among a bunch of other original songs i perform at my shows.

Here are my remaining shows for my October tour!

FRI 10/9 boonville, CA @andersonvalleybrewing 5pm
SAT 10/10 point arena, CA @therecord_pub 6pm

“Mother Natures Calling” an original yodeling song I sang for the trees of lake Almanor in the northern land of California. I’m back on the road for a bit, playing shows along the west coast, which in my world involves camping and being outside in this beautiful, natural world.

somehow in this strange, beautiful world, i have found myself living in a nice home in the outskirts of the ojai valley, not too far from johnny cash’s ranch in casitas springs. a special energy rests here. i spend a lot of time sitting in my little studio yodeling away. that, or walking around the beautiful valley, down in the oak trees or up in the steep chaparral. i love yodeling, and it makes me feel good. i hope it makes you feel good too. and sometimes i type without capitalization, because i am a free human being, and there’s nothing stopping new ways of thinking and creating a world of peace and joy

Bend, Oregon!! I’m playing my first show in your neck of the woods on Tuesday, 10/20 at @silvermoonbrewing. It will be a solo show with no opener full of all my favorite original songs and some. Come on out and support a smaller, emerging artist and see what all the yodeling is about!

In the meantime, my PNW tour starts today at @waganupabrewery in Lake Almanor, CA. I hope to see some of you folks on the road! Let’s have a yodeleheehoo good time.

“White freightliner blues” - Townes van zandt tune. I was inspired to learn this after seeing @mollytuttle and her band(s) play this live. Sang on a lovely rock in a beautiful yard in the majestic township of Ojai, CA.
