Chapter 28. 🤍

Thank you, Chapter 27 for the lessons, the closed doors, the unexpected blessings, the people, the growth, and even the moments that broke me.

At 28, I still don’t have everything figured out. But maybe I don’t need to.

My prayer is simple: God, guide my steps, protect my family, bless the work of my hands, and keep me grounded through it all.

I’m done rushing my story.

I trust Your timing.

Here’s to Chapter 28. 🙏🏽🤍

UGC opportunities are everywhere.

This is Building my dream career Episode 22

Some of my favourite content comes from everyday experiences. Every café, restaurant, or trip is an opportunity to practise your storytelling and grow your portfolio.

Start creating first. Opportunities will follow. 🤝

Love you all you can't do anything about it. 🫶🏽

If you're filming outdoors, an ND filter is one of the best investments you can make.

Think of it as sunglasses for your camera. 😎🎥

I've been using the K&F Concept ND Filter, and it's become an essential part of my kit.

Hope this helps someone create even better outdoor content. 🤝

Not everyone believed this dream would work and honestly, I don't blame them.

When you're building something people can't see yet, they'll only judge what they can.

So I stopped trying to convince everyone and let my work do the talking.

Stay consistent long enough, and your results will speak for themselves.

Love you all you can't do anything about it. 🫶🏽 See you in the next video.

Behind every UGC video are emails, contracts, invoices, negotiations, revisions, planning, filming, editing, and deadlines.

The content is what people see.

The business is what makes it sustainable.

If you're thinking about starting UGC, I hope this gives you a clearer picture of what the job really looks like.

Talking about UGC is one thing. Actually creating it is another.

Here's a recent Tech & Lifestyle UGC Spec Ad video I created using the same storytelling approach I bring to every project: keep it real, make it engaging, and create something people genuinely want to experience.

Don't wait start grabbing what you already own and start creating UGC videos.

I used to think success came from working more.

Now I'm learning it comes from taking better care of yourself.

For me, that means prioritising my health, protecting my time, fuelling my body, and knowing when to switch off.

Because the career I'm building isn't just about achieving more it's about creating a life I can actually enjoy.

Talking to a camera used to feel so awkward.

I'd overthink every word, restart every sentence, and wonder if I was even good enough.

Then I realised something...

No one gives a f**k!

If you're struggling to get comfortable on camera, keep showing up. One day you'll look back and realise how far you've come.

Saying no to a $2,000 collaboration wasn't easy.

But I'm learning that every opportunity comes with a decision.

I chose to protect the quality of my work, my creativity, and the standard I want my name to represent.

Because I'm not just building a portfolio.

I'm building a reputation.

People always ask me how I stay consistent.

The truth is... I don't rely on motivation.

I rely on a system.

Batching my scripts, filming, and editing has completely changed the way I create content. It helps me spend less time overthinking and more time actually creating.

Love you all you can't do anything about it. 🫶🏽 See you in the next video.
