THROWBACK THURSDAY Justin Moore Villanova (2019-24) 🔥🔥

The native was a Second Team All-Big East selection and to the Big East All-Tournament Team while helping lead Villanova to a Final Four appearance and Big East Conference Tournament Championship in 2022

Moore helped lead Villanova to 2 Big East Tournament Championships, 2 Big East regular season championships, an additional Sweet Sixteen appearance in 2021, and was a Big East All-Freshman team selection. He ranks #9 in 3PT field goals made in school history

During his high school career at DeMatha, he helped lead them to 3 state championships (all-time most winningest player in history), 1 WCAC championship, and was named Maryland Gatorade Player of the Year, WCAC Player of the Year, and MET Player of the Year his senior season. He also helped lead Team Takeover to a 2019 EYBL Peach Jam championship

He went on to play 1 year professionally with the Milwaukee Bucks/Wisconsin Herd but his career was cut short due to a severe blood clot by @just.jakia

Justin Moore’s 2022 tournament run was special—leading Villanova to the Final Four before an untimely injury cut it short. His pace, patience, and elite shot fake made him a difficult check for opposing teams. One of the most underrated to ever wear a Villanova uniform. Certified bucket getter💯

Never thought I’d post something like this, but I owe it to everyone who been rockin with me since the beginning. I have to step away from playing the game that I love after suffering blood clots for the second time. I’ve been dealing with this since my Achilles injury.💔 Ending it like this was never in the plans. It sucks…and sometimes life just doesn’t make sense but I trust this must be part of the plan, and that God has a different calling for me!🙏🏽

One chapter ends, and another begins. I’m excited for what’s next, and I can’t thank y’all enough for all the love and support. I’m one of them ones and forever will be. It’s been a hell of a ride from ya boy and I had a lotta fun along the way.

Shoutout to all my people and every team I’ve hooped with since I was kid. Special shoutout to Team Takeover, DeMatha, and Nova Nation! Love Yall🫶🏽
