✨ A Ghostly Gathering ✨ “Be hole, be dust, be dream, be wind Be night, be dark, be wish, be mind, Now slip, now slide, now move unseen, Above, beneath, betwixt, between.” — Neil Gaiman, The Graveyard Book —— ☾ ⋆*･ﾟ:⋆*･ﾟ:⠀ *⋆.*:･ﾟ .: ⋆*･ﾟ: .⋆—— Even though October lasts 31 days, it still feels WAY too short. Swipe for BTS and a special guest maybe? 👀 Fun fact: my husband 3D modeled the black scaredy cat on the fence! 🐈‍⬛ Big shout out to him!!! ﾟ*☆*ﾟ ゜ﾟ*☆*ﾟ ゜ﾟ*☆*ﾟ ゜ﾟ*☆*ﾟ 🎨 Featuring 3D models from MakerWorld by JimLarson, Rock Paper Story, and TiNiY 📝 Bio link → “Kit Credit” for the full model list and artists’ profiles. #toyphotography #hirono #ghodybeholdmycat by @yoshiswhimsy
✨ Adventures together ✨ There’s truly something special about adventures we get to share together. Special shout out to @theonecam for gifting me a Pepsi Danboard!! I’ve been wanting my own Danboard for so long and it is such a gift to finally have one. Thank you so much 🥹💜 Also special shout out to my husband for holding a light diffuser up for me 🫶🏽 Could not have done this shot without him!! Took this off a forest service road in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest here in the PNW. 🌲 I loved how the reed of grass was facing in the first shot, but the wind made it face the other way in the second shot 🥲 #toyphotography #danboardphotography #nendography by @yoshiswhimsy
👻 Scaring Time 👻 Horror (think The Grudge or Texas Chainsaw) isn’t my thing, I’ve never liked it, but I am all about cozy horror and dark fantasy! Give me all the Over the Garden Wall, Corpse Bride, Coraline, Sleepy Hollow, Hocus Pocus and Wednesday vibes. Something about this aesthetic really feeds my soul. If any of you are audiobook readers/bookworms my personal recommendationthis spooky season is one of my top favorite books: One Dark Window by Rachel Gillig. Amazing gothic horror read ✨ What about you guys? What’s your favorite spooky story/movie/book? —— ☾ ⋆*･ﾟ:⋆*･ﾟ:⠀ *⋆.*:･ﾟ .: ⋆*･ﾟ: .⋆—— This photo set features some gifts sent to me!!! The cute curled up sleeping kitty from @labubu2025japan and the books from @lit.bubus & @labu_familia !! Special shout out and thank you so much!! They helped inspire me to make this shot 👌🏽 #toyphotography #spookyseason #popmart ﾟ*☆*ﾟ ゜ﾟ*☆*ﾟ ゜ﾟ*☆*ﾟ ゜ﾟ*☆*ﾟ 🎨 Featuring 3D models from MakerWorld by Printed a mini, and 6POiNT6 📝 Bio link → “Kit Credit” for the full model list and artists’ profiles. by @yoshiswhimsy
🎃 Welcome Great Pumpkin 🎃 It’s officially October 1st!! Happy October friends! Featuring Mokoko Magic of Pumpkin #labubu #toyphotography #popmarthalloween —— ☾ ⋆*･ﾟ:⋆*･ﾟ:⠀ *⋆.*:･ﾟ .: ⋆*･ﾟ: .⋆—— Off of a forest service road in the Gifford Pinchot National forest, we found this spot to create my own version of this scene with a bit of ‘PNW’ vibe. I struggled heavily with the edit, though. I was going for my usual moody PNW edits but something felt off. Ultimately ended up with the nostalgic cine film look. Both the sign and the ground spike/doll stand were 3D modeled/printed by my husband. 👏🏽 Pumpkins were from a local pumpkin patch, and the garland is from a craft store because there wasn’t enough real leaves on the ground yet. 😅 Bts at the end! by @yoshiswhimsy
✨Welcome Autumn✨ Happy first day of Autumn! 🍂 —— ☾ ⋆*･ﾟ:⋆*･ﾟ:⠀ *⋆.*:･ﾟ .: ⋆*･ﾟ: .⋆—— This scene came together with no real prior planning. It was inspired straight from how I come alive the second the air starts to cool and the grey, cloudy skies roll in. I usually stick strictly to practical effects, but to fully realize my vision for this one, some digital magic was needed! Swipe to see a very short clip (at the very end) showing how I added the falling leaves using Procreate and custom leaf brushes. This is my first time using digital effects in a post here ✌🏽 —— ☾ ⋆*･ﾟ:⋆*･ﾟ:⠀ *⋆.*:･ﾟ .: ⋆*･ﾟ: .⋆—— Wishing all of you an amazing autumn season filled with cozy sweaters and hot coffee. (Or tea if you’re a tea person ☺️) ﾟ*☆*ﾟ ゜ﾟ*☆*ﾟ ゜ﾟ*☆*ﾟ ゜ﾟ*☆*ﾟ 🎨 Featuring 3D models from MakerWorld by Rock Paper Story, and TiNiY 📝 Bio link → “Kit Credit” for the full model list and artists’ profile’s #toyphotography #nyota #fallvibes by @yoshiswhimsy
I’m just sure Maomao would love Frieren’s flower spell 🌼 Bts at the end! —— ☾ ⋆*･ﾟ:⋆*･ﾟ:⠀ *⋆.*:･ﾟ .: ⋆*･ﾟ: .⋆—— If I’ve been a bit quiet on here lately, I’ve been intentionally cutting back on screen time to put more hands-on energy into my latest art projects. Less scrolling, more making. ✌🏽 The quiet has been relief for the creative process, too. Excited to share what I’ve been working on soon!! Have a great Sunday!! #nendography #maomao #frieren #toyphotography by @yoshiswhimsy
✨Spooky Time✨ Spooky season begins and I am excited to keep making more spooky art! 🎃 I know it’s a longer carousel but keep swiping to see a special guest 👻 Guess who? 👀 #toyphotography #hirono #ghodybeholdmycat ﾟ*☆*ﾟ ゜ﾟ*☆*ﾟ ゜ﾟ*☆*ﾟ ゜ﾟ*☆*ﾟ 🎨 Featuring 3D models from MakerWorld by TiNiY, JimLarson and 3DMakerSpace 📝 Bio link → “Kit Credit” for the full model list and artists’ profiles. by @yoshiswhimsy
✨Pluviophile ✨ We don’t need clear skies to keep moving forward. Sometimes we need to pause in the drizzle, and bloom right where the storm lands. —— ☾ ⋆*･ﾟ:⋆*･ﾟ:⠀ *⋆.*:･ﾟ .: ⋆*･ﾟ: .⋆—— Man, I love rainy Autumn 🍂 ☔️ I know it’s not officially the start of the season yet but we had some rainy days here and it was pure bliss. We’ve been back to straight sunshine and 27C/80F since this shot, though 🫠 Shout out to the husband for the bts 👌🏽 #toyphotography #frierenbeyondjourneysend #nendography by @yoshiswhimsy
✨Forest Magic✨ It’s been a long time since I’ve done a photoshoot of the little forest elves. Here’s Lopa with her new friend Sorrel. 🌿 I’m in love with Sorrel’s little polo but she’ll be getting a little witchy outfit for the season as soon as I find the motivation to set up my sewing machine 😂 —— ☾ ⋆*･ﾟ:⋆*･ﾟ:⠀ *⋆.*:･ﾟ .: ⋆*･ﾟ: .⋆—— I’ve been popping off with these posts lately and I hope you’re not sick of me yet! I have a bit in the backlog 😂💜🙇🏽‍♀️ #toyphotography #themonsters #labubu by @yoshiswhimsy
✨Café Dreams✨ I’ve always been drawn to scenes that feel like a deep breath, and this little corner is pure cozy café dreams come to life. Finding the right setting for a new character is always such a fun puzzle and as soon as I placed Frankie on this tiny wooden stool inside the Rolife café, everything just clicked. First Peach Riot on my page!! 🙌🏽✨ #peachriot #popmart #toyphotography #rolife by @yoshiswhimsy
✨ Rainy Day Herbs ✨ Finally got to spend some time being out in PNW nature 🌲 I brought Lopa with to help hunt down the right photo spots. But ofc we forgot bts clips for this shot of Maomao so the video clip at the end is a preview of future photos 😅 You can imagine how I got this shot of Maomao based off of that ☺️ Anyway, got a little soaked but didn’t mind at all. We love the rain! Happy Caturday! Anyone here excited for Apothecary Diaries S3?! #pnw #nendography #toyphotography by @yoshiswhimsy
