Hyped to share JUKEBOX JIMMY 🎙️🎶

Lots learned through the creation of J.J and stoked on the ideas that presented themselves during the process. Definitely more to come and many thanks to those of y’all who have already followed my art page 💛

Disclaimer 🚧: Just a dude who’s close to forty trying to prove to himself it’s never too late to learn a new skill.

I have always had the upmost respect and admiration for people who can draw/illustrate- I think growing up with 90’s cartoons heavily influenced this.
Throughout my life, as soon I put pencil to paper, it’s like I’m discovering I have hands for the first time - I don’t think I’ve ever been more frustrated than when trying to draw a simple circle 😅
But recently I’ve made a commitment to push through any frustrations and doubt and work ideas to completion- even if the end result sucks.

I’m stoked on the bit of progress I have made and hella appreciative to have a homie like @frontsidejosh for being incredibly patient & believing in me enough to ask me to create what would end up being one of my first characters ever, for @theewaxjr.

So much more to learn and the journey long but I’ve gotta say, it truly does feel like it is never too late to learn something new. I have an art page, @primary_illustrations, if anyone ever wants to follow along and thank you so much to the people in my circle who have been encouraging and sharing their wisdom/advice 💚 by @young_ben_kenobi

What a stellar ten days of playing rock & roll with some of the best people. Can’t say enough how much I appreciate everyone who came out, the promoters and bands we played with, those who took photos/video, scooped merch, and simply held it down with us.

Until the next one 👽
