We received an invite from the UWCwomanx block along with the gender equity unit to address the issue of GBV around campus. It what such a fulfilling experience as we know that gender-based violence is one of the hot topics not only in UWC but across the country. Thanks you womanxblock for your dedication towards the safety and security of women on campus. #Amadla✊🏾🤍 by @youngpeopleinaction

@youngpeopleinaction believes that period products should not only be limited to the privileged few however, everyone should have the access. The organisation had taken upon itself to provide sanitary towels to the women and girls that are in need especially those of a young age. Conversations around period poverty and menstruation should not only be limited to women mainly because we all have a role to play #mysisterspainismypain. Atleast more than 20 young girls and women will get an opportunity to be provided with sanitary towels.

Kuthiwa Charity begins at home: Today we’ve kicked started the Youth in a mission organisation by distributed 20 takeaways in a form of soup kitchen to the young people and the residents of belhar. These are the people I’ve seen hustling for food on a daily basis. I’m so grateful for everyone who’s coming foward with the support and hoping that many people are going to hop on boat as we are planning to push the organisation to a greater extent. All thanks to the community of belhar for allowing us to extend our kindness to them. Thank you izandla zidlula ikhanda.
