OR… the right people will find you through the almighty powers of the evil algorithm and value the professionalism you bring to creatively market their property 🤷🏼‍♀️

PRO TIP: The algorithm only works if you give it the real version of you. The masked version of yourself will continue to attract more of the same, confusing your metrics.

By showing up authentically, it will strategically place you in front of people who have the same interests, values

AND taste in memes and content.

We’ve been running our business through instagram since the early days of Snapchat filters, we’ve been known to get a little weird on here. If you would have told me 25K of you would be interested in our weird antics of slanging houses along the way I never would have believed you…but here you are.

Our people 🫶🏽

I leave you with this:

If you were buying or selling the biggest asset of your life,

Would you feel more confident in the agent is who isn’t afraid to jump in the pool, laugh at themselves, be vulnerable, honest and confidently put themselves out there…

OR

Work with the person who’s scared to say & do the wrong thing out of fear?

Real talk, who do you think is holding the cards in that negotiation? 👀

Don’t get this message twisted, you don’t need antics to attract clients. You don’t have to be funny, you don’t have to dance, you don’t have the be trending…

JUST BE YOU ❤️

P.S. Shoutout to the clients and those of you watching that one day will DM us to buy or sell your next home that see through all the BS, through us living in an RV and traveling the country while we navigate our businesses splitting our time and trust us to deliver on the thing that matters…

Your success & happiness with your real estate transaction.

That is always our top priority ❤️

And shoutout to @thereelcoach for this transition concept I’ve been waiting to implement 👊🏽💥 by @your.sd.agents

The secret to storytelling just clicked for me ⤵️

If you’ve ever had a story stuck in your head that somehow sounds less impactful when you try to say it out loud… same.

For the longest time, storytelling felt like this mysterious “it” factor that everyone else had figured out. I’d get in my head thinking, “Maybe nobody will care,” or “Maybe it’s not worth sharing.” But the truth is, those are the exact stories people connect to most.

That’s why this past event with @magnetmethodsocial hit different.

Because Sara broke down how to tell your story in a way that actually connects, not with complicated formulas or fake hype, but with a simple, repeatable process called the PULL Framework that anyone can use and that’s designed to pull out the parts of your story that are most relatable to attract more clients.

Who knew the secret to storytelling was in Missy Elliot’s lyrics the whole time. Instead of telling the story the traditional way from A-Z, try the reverse storytelling method that finally made storytelling click for me:

1️⃣ Present the Hook: Lead with the win. The transformation. The “oh damn” moment that made it all worth it.
2️⃣ Upshift Interest: Show them why it matters: what they’ll learn, feel, or gain by sticking around for the next 30 seconds-60 seconds
3️⃣ Layer the Feeling: Make them feel the problem. Use real stories that mirror what your audience is going through.
4️⃣ Link the Context: End with your transformation: what changed, what strategy and offering did you bring to the table that made this experience, and what others can take away from it.

Remember, the reason we tell stories is to connect with people on the other end. This framework unlocked something for me, not just in storytelling, but in how I show up. Because every post, every video, every caption is a chance to connect on something real.

People are craving that authenticity more than ever before. And it feels a lot less “ick” if we can relate rather than try to convince anyone.

Shoutout to @alyssadavies619 for organizing this badass group of women that came together yesterday for our monthly meeting to discuss exactly how to evaluate and measure your financial success including a deep dive into evaluating your P & L…something I think we all benefited from getting a better perspective on!

While the ‘mom camp’ vision started as a group of female business owners and industry leaders simultaneously juggling mom life, it quickly evolved to into more than that with those that don’t currently have kids but are similarly balancing life, running our business and chasing our goals.

This is certainly not your ordinary mom group or small talk, shout out to each of these ladies for sharing about your business, your struggles, your wins and your questions.

It was incredibly refreshing and conforming to hear from these other women and industry leaders what they’re going through and how we can collectively lift one another up in our respective fields and roles.

➡️➡️➡️ We need MORE collaboration like this.

Already looking forward to the next one where we take the knowledge to the spreadsheet and actually start running these scenarios and finding more opportunities in each of our businesses.

➡️➡️➡️ Stay tuned for more takeaways and tips coming from this awesome group of women!

When I was training first our first marathon, I remember that I thought about the finish line every single day I hit the pavement.

I pictured the time clock in the sub 4 hour mark, I pictured the metal around my neck and the smile on my parents faces.

I couldn’t wait for that glory moment. And also for all the snacks & beer I was gonna destroy after (that 20 something mindset & priorities).

It was the moment that kept me going through all the aches, pains and discomfort along the way. It fueled my entire process and was the driving force that got me out of bed for a 20 mile on New Year’s Eve morning that year.

But something unexpected happened…

I found myself at the finish line living the fruition of all the moments I’d dreamed about.

All of them came true.

I beat the clock (even with a confusing extra mile detour), my parents faces welled up with pride, the metal was heavier than I expected around my neck. The beer flowed.

BUT

It didn’t feel like I thought.

It was then that I realized the best part was not the finish line but instead…

The beauty was in the process.

Any endurance athlete will tell you it’s the training is what they’re most proud of, not the finish.

Because there is no band on those days. There are no spectators on the dark early mornings with a headlamp. No cheering section. No medal.

Just the sound of your breath and the pitter patter of your feet on the pavement. And a lot of time with yourself…deep in the parts of your brain that will literally make or break you.

To date, my wife and I look back on that time and wonder how the hell we did that. How we trained for a full marathon, while getting a second masters, climbing the corporate ladder and clocking that overtime chedda and still managed to squeeze in every single training run.

I distinctly remember our Wednesday night 10 milers at LA Fitness that we had to do on the treadmill bc it was winter and dark by 5pm when we got off work.

Every step felt like a mile on a treadmill running in place inside those musty 4 walls.

I’m nowhere I want to be with this business.

Yet.

But I’m on my way. And I fucking love the ride I’m on 🤙🏽 by @your.sd.agents

7 SECONDS IN: A literal champagne flight ✈️🥂

22 SECONDS IN: a lifelong realtor goal comes to fruition 🙌🏽

There’s one thing I’ve always wanted to do for a listing video that I’ve been thinking about since 2016.

But it never felt quite right

…Until I saw this beautiful cliffside home in Blossom Valley

And I knew it was the perfect saber spot 🔪 💥 🍾

For those that aren’t familiar, champagne bottles have a vertical seam running along the side. To saber a bottle of champagne, you run the blade of your saber or knife along the seam, starting from the bottom and following it all the way up to the neck.

If you strike the point where the seam meets the lip at the bottle’s neck, the pressure built up in the bottle should cause the neck to break clean along the seam…creating the ultimate champagne pop 💥🍾

🎼 Music to my ears 🎼

Fly through my arms and into your own personal private paradise in one of San Diego’s most scenic hidden gems you will find in our beautiful city.

This part always gets me…

When people step out into this sanctuary of a backyard, there’s an immediate moment of silence 🤫

I can see their jaws drop as they take a big breathe in amazement of the vast mountain tops before them.

In the next minute, they slowly turn their heads from left to right as they exhale in bewilderment at the sight that pictures could never truly capture.

I love this part.

It’s better than they thought.

There’s always a moment when people tour homes when they think to themselves, ‘can I see myself living here?’

As a realtor, this is my favorite part ✨

We live for this moment.

The view stops them in their tracks but it’s the next few minutes that get me.

They look around to see the rest, to fill in the details of their own life…

They see themselves on summer nights in the picturesque pool positioned perfectly for late summer sunset views.

The 10 person fire-pit they’d sit year round with their closest friends while enjoying their cocktails & sounds of their kids playing adjacent.

The cornhole (or bean toss, I’ll die on that hill) court where they’d compete and laugh with friends with for football Sundays.

And while most would consider this entertainers yard a complete vision, there’s still room to explore on this 3 acre property.

On one of the biggest lots in the neighborhood, the current owners had grand plans of continuing their outdoor paradise even further by leveling off the western hillside into a possible putting green or gazebo.

It’s hard to say that this view could get any better… but it definitely wouldn’t suck up there 😎

The possibilities are endless in this one of a kind gem💎

Completely turn key but even more potential to customize for YOUR forever.

Most people that have toured the home thus far pull up to the ADU thinking it’s the primary home. It’s far from your average ADU at 1,200 sq ft and designed & built to perfection just 3 years ago.

Run ,don’t walk to the LINK IN BIO for more details on 15042 & 15044 Creek Hills Rd
