Girl, let me tell you about the Brazilian wax experience that humbled me for life.

While working as an esthetician on a cruise ship, one of the dancers asked me to give her a Brazilian wax. Of course, I said yes because I was always ready for a challenge.

The problem? I had never received proper Brazilian waxing training.

I had no tweezers, no scissors, some questionable soft wax—and did I mention we were on a moving ship?

I was sweating. She was probably praying. And her pum-pum went through more than any woman should ever experience during a Brazilian wax appointment.

I am forever grateful that she trusted me, but that experience is one of the reasons I became so passionate about Brazilian waxing education.

After more than 15 years in the aesthetics industry, I know that watching one Brazilian wax demonstration is not enough.

Every client has a different body, skin type, hair texture, growth pattern, pain tolerance and personal experience. A confident Brazilian waxing specialist must understand how to adjust their technique instead of treating every client exactly the same.

That is why my Brazilian waxing education includes real demonstrations, inclusive techniques, evolving manuals and continued mentorship.

I want clients to feel safe, respected and understood.

I want new estheticians to feel supported instead of standing over their first client sweating bullets and pretending they know what to do.

I became the Brazilian waxing educator I needed when I was first learning.

Being an esthetician isn’t just about technique-it’s about creating systems that make your job easier, cleaner, and more sustainable.

A few things we use at Tropix Gal that have been game changers:

Metal spatulas for sugaring instead of throwing away
wooden sticks after every scoop.

Marine vinyl treatment beds that can be properly sanitized instead of constantly using disposable paper.

A wall-mounted hot shelf for wax pot lids so they stay
warm, organized, and sanitary during services.

Google review signs in every room because if your clients are happy, don’t make them hunt for where to leave a review.

Some of the biggest improvements I’ve made in my treatment room weren’t expensive—they were intentional.

✨ Swapping disposable wooden sticks for metal spatulas.
✨ Investing in marine vinyl bed covers that are easier to clean and built to last.
✨ Organizing my room so everything is within reach.
✨ Choosing tools and systems that save time, reduce waste and protect my body.

Small changes like these add up. They save money, improve your client experience, reduce burnout and help you create a business that’s sustainable for years—not just busy for today.
