. The swaying spiderweb is the water’s surface The sound of sunlight bouncing off I can hear unfamiliar birds chatting Stepping on dry leaves softly Sayonara The forest sometimes turns into the deep sea Just for now in formless state I might still be… A black ladybug on the coral at my feet It doesn’t care at all whether this is a forest or a deep sea Sayonara Slowly and gently cooling down Just for now in formless state I might be free I know But still diluting time and drifting in it so far #composition #fujifilmx100f #fujifilm #auckland #spiderweb #singing #guitar #demo #japanesenature inspired by @forest_mushly by @yu_lily_kid
. Mado is out now :) by @yu_lily_kid

. “Mado” is coming out tomorrow! through @monosoak_.records Mado means window🪟 Getting out of this windowless room Getting out of this sinking day When I attended the songwriting workshop, I wasn’t really sure how to make the song longer without forcing it. I ended up asking this amazing guitarist to add a guitar solo! That’s what she suggested :) Thank you @womenaboutsound by @yu_lily_kid
. Mado is coming out this Thursday🪟 Here’s the demo :) #demo #mado #window by @yu_lily_kid
. Thank you so much for playing my song, Maebh and Wren🫶📻 It was also really cool listening to your voice again this way, Wren :) @95bfm @wrenneso @maebhmccurdy I used to enjoy 95bfm as a videographer/audience while I was there. So this means a lot to me! I was just gonna check my part, but I ended up listening to the next song “The Bug Collector” by Haley Heynderickx, because it was just so beautiful. This is how radio works. Feeling so special finding an amazing song that didn't come from the algorithm haha Anyway, thank you!! by @yu_lily_kid
. I like editing BTS🌿 I once said “If I could get footage of me singing in nature, that would be amazing”. I didn’t expect that would actually happen, but when I temporarily came back to NZ this March, Mike brought up this project. And you can tell how stunning the place was. My mind was fulfilled even before recording. I’m so glad we made it happen and how it turned out. I had the best team!!✨ Thank you so much :) amazing @michael.luke.howell @splinermann @monosoak_.records special thanks to @quantum_femme by @yu_lily_kid
‘Spiderweb’ (live at Bethells) by yuriko 🎥 out on YouTube now Special thanks to @quantum_femme for letting us shoot at their beautiful property in Bethells. It was a whirlwind day but fortunately everything came together at the last moment Written and Performed by @yu_lily_kid Filmed by @splinermann Recorded and Mixed @michael.luke.howell #spiderweb #acoustic by @yu_lily_kid
Live video for ‘Spiderweb’ on the way tomorrow ☀️ @yu_lily_kid @splinermann by @yu_lily_kid
Ｓｐｉｄｅｒｗｅｂ　ｂｙ　ｙｕｒｉｋｏ 🎥 Music Video up on YouTube now Shot by @yu_lily_kid “Inspired by a video of a spiderweb I had filmed in Japan and remembered during my stay in New Zealand, the lyrics weave imagery of the sea and forest while exploring themes of fleeting freedom and embracing vulnerability.” #spiderweb #yuriko #acoustic by @yu_lily_kid
. Tomorrow, ‘Spiderweb’ is coming out🕸️ I can’t believe I’m actually releasing my own song into the world :0 Without your support, this song would be just one of the demos on my phone forever... Thank you🫶 by @yu_lily_kid
