Turned 34, and became state champ today!
74/89

Considering my sporadic training schedule, I’m pretty proud of that. I had a ton of fun goofing off with my pals and letting the people I love reciprocate that feeling.

Thanks and love to everyone who reached out, and who spent their day with me. I love you!! What a gift it is to be known and celebrated.

After four years, it’s time to say goodbye to my sweet little local coffee shop. It’s hard to get into what this place means to me, and how much it’s shaped me, and hopefully how much I’ve been able to influence it, too.

This feels like a very warm and beautiful end to a significant chapter of joy in my life, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to curate a space for people from every walk of life to feel welcomed, and safe, and wanted.

I’ve learned a lot here, and while it’s bittersweet, I’m so excited to pursue new goals, made possible by the safety net created of everyone who’s come through the front door and engaged with me, whether once, or everyday. Sometimes a 30 second conversation can inspire a whole new life outlook. It happened to me regularly.

Special thanks to @hm.maureen for taking a chance on me and bringing me on the team, and for trusting my input every step of the way. And to @jaheeeee for collaborating with me, and encouraging creativity and kindness, and always inspiring me to lead with a sure mind and clear eyes. One of my proudest accomplishments of this tenure is our friendship, I will not take that for granted.

And to our regulars, who trusted us and let us love them with good vibes and loud laughs, probably the best chocolate chip cookies this side of Jefferson, and *definitely* the best espresso😆

Be kind, love your neighbors, drink good coffee. Onward to the next chapter! 😄❤️☕️ by @yung_reebs

Competition weekend is over, and I am GRATEFUL
I haven’t competed in a year! Since the last Arnold!
This time around was so different for me than previously, I am proud of the work I did, and the lessons I’ve learned in what I need to be successful at these events.

Some things I’m proud of:
I TOTALED (165kg +3 from last year)
Opened snatches at 75kg, which was also my final attempt the first year I went to the Arnold :’)
Snatched 78kg on the platform, which is only 2kg under my best ever!!
Opened clean and jerks 1kg below my best ever, and it moved really easily!!
Warmed up from a barbell to my opening CJ in like ??? 8 minutes or something ridiculous. Note to self: pee before the session starts lol

There’s plenty of room for growth, but I’m proud of myself and I’m happy with the work I’ve done.
Happy, but not satisfied.
I forgot how much I enjoy competing, can’t wait to do it again!
LFG!

Snatch: 75x/75/78(comp pr)
CJ: 87(comp pr)/89x/90x
