Z on the Mic day in the life: Filipino & Gujarati Wedding Reception in Toronto 🇵🇭🇮🇳

Grace and Neel’s wedding reception was an unforgettable evening!

What you don’t see showcased in these clips before every event is hours of preparation, brainstorming, and creativity. From crafting a personalized opening monologue to weaving in witty remarks, meaningful stories, and interactive moments throughout the evening, my goal is to keep guests laughing, engaged, and entertained from start to finish.

One of the things I take the most pride in as an MC is making sure that no two weddings ever feel the same.

I take the time to get to know each couple beyond the wedding day in the consultation chats weeks before the event and on the day of. Knowing their personalities,, love story, cultural backgrounds, and all the little details that make them unique allows me to create that signature Z on the Mic experience. 🎤

🗓️ Now booking for 2027 events, lock in your dates before December 31st to secure current rates.

Grace’s Father-Daughter Dance ft. a Bryan Adams classic!

Grace and Neel’s grand reception was one of the most unforgettable events of the season! 🎤

Before the event, Grace sent me a bunch of fun facts which I was to weave into the evening naturally.

One of the most thoughtful details of the evening was the song they played for the father-daughter dance, which was a slow Bryan Adams song that Grace’s parents shared their first dance to as husband and wife 33 years ago!

Instead of simply stating the fun fact randomly at the beginning of the event, I used it to introduce the segment and even threw in some humour to lighten the mood a little! 🫶🏼

As an interactive and engaging wedding MC, I take my craft very seriously and always invite my couples to share detail about their story, experiences, and fun facts about them and their families.

Watch till the end and ask yourself, is someone cutting onions?! It’s always an honour and pleasure to be part of these emotional moments!

Looking for one of the most entertaining and engaging wedding MC’s in the market? 2027 bookings have now begun, fill out the inquiry form in my bio or DM to secure your date! 📆

If their wedding had a special soundtrack, Farwa & Wesley’s big day would sound like a room full of people cheering at the top of their lungs ♥️

When we asked Farwa about her vision for the day, she gave us full creative freedom to do things the One Kahani way. No expectations of any trending reels, just the space to follow their love, capture their personalities, and let the story unfold as it happened.

And that’s what makes this edit theirs. The laughter, the energy, the people who showed up for them from all parts of America and Canada!

Thank you Farwa and Wes for trusting us with your wedding day and Kahani 🎞️

Weddings aren’t just for the bride and groom... read that again! 🎤

As a professional wedding MC, you begin to realize that the role of a host is more than what meets the eye. I pride myself on guest engagement, not only during the program but before key transitions as well!

The job of an MC begins right when you take your first step into the venue, and connecting with close family, friends and guests is what makes my job that much more meaningful.

Complimenting a guests outfit, cracking a joke, letting them know that they nailed their performance or speech; the little things go a long way 😁

📆 Looking to book an engaging, energetic and multilingual wedding MC for your event, 2027 bookings are underway, fill in my inquiry form in my bio or DM me and let’s talk about transforming your big day!

Another day, another Z on the Mic wedding! 🎤

Hosting Diane and Michael’s wedding was one of the highlights for me this year. Witnessing a blend and union of two cultures is exactly why I’m proud to wake up everyday and call myself a professional wedding MC. When I’m not hosting your typical South Asian weddings, it’s an honour and pleasure to be part of fusion weddings! 💍🌍

Being an MC for a Phillipino 🇵🇭 x Peruvian 🇵🇪/Chilean🇨🇱 bride and groom was more fun than I could’ve ever imagined! From the first entrance to the flooded dance floor, this was an unforgettable wedding to say the least!

If you’re looking for an MC for your upcoming fusion wedding in 2027, look no further than your boy Z on the Mic 🎤 Fill in the inquiry form in my bio or DM with your date and let’s elevate your event to the next level! 📆

Welcome back to a day in the life of Z on the Mic! 🎤

As a Pakistani man, learning Bangla may be difficult… but not impossible! 😆

Back with another BTS look at MC’ing a wedding, this time… a Bengali reception at the beautiful @nuvoeventspace.

Noor & Marium brought me on to help make sure their reception flowed seamlessly, while keeping their guests engaged, entertained, and excited throughout the night.

As an MC, every announcement and interaction has a purpose. From setting the tone and keeping the energy high, to using my wit and multilingualism to connect with guests, my goal is always the same: create a vibe where everyone feels comfortable, included, and ready for what’s next!

A huge thank you to Noor & Marium for trusting me to be part of their special day. It is an honour I don’t take lightly.

Looking for an MC who’s energetic, multilingual, personable, and knows how to keep a crowd engaged?

2027 bookings are officially open! 📆 Fill out my inquiry form through the link in my bio or message me here to chat.

The joys of being the MC for the best clients! If you can’t tell, I love what I do and here are some funny BTS clips of being myself and ensuring that my couple of the night, Sherjeel and Azelefa are well taken care of with the best vendor team.

Watch until the end to see the best joke of the night sponsored by the groom’s dad himself. 😅

Z on the Mic takes the Windy City! 🇺🇸

From the very first inquiry, to the consultation calls, to boarding that flight to Chicago… somehow, this booking just felt like it was meant to happen.

Arslan & Kanwal’s wedding weekend is one I genuinely won’t forget. From making announcements, getting laughs from every age group, connecting with the crowd, and working alongside an absolute DREAM team of vendors, this was so much more than just showing up and grabbing a mic. 🎤

And if you still don’t believe it was meant to be… what are the odds that my hotel was literally right beside a Shure building… you know, the company that makes some of the most iconic microphones in the world? 😂

I mean… come on. The universe was clearly trying to tell me something.

I always say the same thing at the beginning of every wedding: it’s an absolute honour and pleasure to be here to host a couple’s big day. But honestly, saying that this time almost felt like an understatement.

There’s something very special about being able to travel to a new city, experience a different culture, meet incredible people, and be part of such an important weekend… all because two people fell in love and trusted me to be their wedding MC. ✈️❤️

Chicago, you were good to me.

Arslan & Kanwal, congratulations once again! Thank you for picking me for your special celebration.

And of course, a MASSIVE shoutout to the incredible vendor team I got to work alongside this weekend. Absolute dream team. 🫶🏼
