Day 02 recap

A special moment with someone we truly admire. It was an honour to meet Madam @bkinemo at the Women Parliamentary Conference 2026 and have a few precious minutes to interact with her. Her words of wisdom and encouragement made the moment even more meaningful. What started as a brief conversation turned into such a beautiful exchange that, honestly, we didn’t even want it to end. 😅❤️ A conversation we will always remember🥹❤️ @schola_mchome

An inspiring woman standing alongside the people she inspires📌❤️ @schola_mchome

Sometimes, you can be doing your very best and still feel like what you’re doing isn’t significant enough, especially when you find yourself in rooms with people who are more accomplished or further ahead in life.
But then someone looks at you and says, “Dear, please stop using the word ‘just.’ You are doing something meaningful, and you are enough.”🥹❤️ Thank you so much Madam @bkinemo ❤️ by @zaituni_haidari

Being part of the official opening ceremony of the Women Parliamentary Conference (WPC) 2026 was a meaningful reminder that building a peaceful and developed Great Lakes Region requires bold leadership, collaboration, and inclusive decision-making.
In a room filled with distinguished leaders, ministers, and women parliamentarians, I was reminded that the future we envision begins with the voices, ideas, and actions we bring to the table today.

The future is not only something we hope for, it is something we must actively build together.

I had the opportunity to attend a @uniceftz session on “Protecting Children in Tanzania’s Connected Digital Future” during Innovation Week Tanzania 2026.

The session was particularly meaningful to me because, as science and technology continue to transform our society and Tanzania works towards the aspirations of Vision 2050, protecting children must remain at the heart of this transformation.

A digital future should not only be innovative and connected; it must also be safe, inclusive, and child-friendly. As technology creates new opportunities for children to learn, connect, create, and access information, we must also ensure that they are protected from emerging online risks.

As a child protection advocate, I believe that safeguarding children today means protecting them not only in their homes, schools, and communities, but also in the digital spaces where their lives increasingly unfold.

Building Tanzania’s digital future must also mean building a future where every child can participate, benefit, and thrive safely. 💙

Sometimes leave your comfort zone… attend events, meet new people, have meaningful conversations, share your ideas, and be open to learning. Every connection can teach you something, open a new door, or inspire your next step.

Grateful to have been part of the Tanzania–Russia Youth Conference 2026. 🇹🇿🇷🇺

The conference gave me the opportunity to learn more about the growing partnership between Tanzania and Russia and the opportunities available for young people. I was also honored to be in a session attended by the Minister of Youth of the Russia.

One of my proudest moments was actively participating by asking about the possibility of introducing Russian language programs in Tanzanian schools and sharing my thoughts on the importance of ensuring future youth initiatives also address gender equality and child protection.

Thank you to everyone who made this experience memorable. @wyf_tanzania

I was honored to attend the SOMESHA MTOTO MMOJA project event by @tasacotz , an initiative dedicated to supporting children in need and giving them access to quality education.
Every contribution, no matter how small, can help transform a child’s future and open doors to endless opportunities.
