December 6, 2025: Today I walked the stage and earned my Bachelor’s of Science in Health Services Management. This moment didn’t just happen overnight. It came from years of pushing through doubt, holding onto faith, and refusing to give up on myself. Norfolk State University became more than just a campus - it became my home away from home. NSU gave me a place where I grew academically, emotionally, and professionally. It gave me lifelong friendships, unforgettable memories, and countless opportunities that shaped who I am today. It also pushed me to step outside of my comfort zone, try new things, and discover strengths and passions I didn’t even know I had. I’m endlessly grateful for my friends and family who lifted me when I felt overwhelmed, encouraged me when I doubted myself, and celebrated every win with me. Your love, support, and prayers carried me through more than you’ll ever know. Every challenge I faced here taught me strength. Every friendship reminded me I wasn’t alone. Every professor, advisor, and experience poured something into me that I’ll carry for the rest of my life. I’m walking away with a degree, but also with a family, a community, and a foundation that I’m proud to stand on. Thank you, NSU, for molding me into the woman l am today. As we get closer to graduation, I want to give a huge thank you to the entire Nursing and Allied Health Department - the department, the faculty, and the staff who have been with me every step of the way. You all have made an incredible impact on my path. Your guidance, encouragement, and dedication shaped me into the woman I am today. From the tough moments to the victories, you pushed me, supported me, and believed in me even when I questioned myself. Each lesson, each conversation, and each act of support meant more than you know. You helped me grow not only academically, but personally, and l am forever grateful for the way you poured into me. Thank you for leaving a lasting mark on my journey and preparing me for everything that comes next on my journey 🔰. by @zatoryiaah_
In 2 days, I will be graduating from THEE ILLUSTRIOUS Norfolk State University with my B.S. in Health Services Management. This journey has been anything but easy. It took blood, sweat, tears, sleepless nights, tough decisions, and sacrifices that most people will never see. There were moments where the workload felt overwhelming, moments where life hit hard, and moments where I silently questioned whether I had the strength to keep going. But through every challenge, God was with me. Every time l thought I’d reached my limit, He gave me peace. Every time I felt weak, He restored my strength. Every time I wanted to give up, He reminded me of who I am and what He created me to do. If it wasn’t for God’s grace, protection, and guidance, I would not be standing in this moment. He carried me through battles no one knew I was fighting and turned obstacles into stepping stones. This degree represents growth, resilience, faith, and a victory that was prayed for. It’s a reminder that no matter how hard the journey gets, God will always make a way. I am beyond grateful, beyond proud, and beyond blessed to reach this huge milestone 🎓💚💛. 📸: @reesevisualz_ makeup: @theemuajada hair: @touchedbyybree by @zatoryiaah_
