• We're Moving •

We've an exciting announcement to make!! On April 1st, we're moving Zeal Interiors to the centre of the city, another elegant Georgian building with the perfect proportions for crafting soft furnishings; 9 Marsh Street BS1 4AA 🥳🥳🥳

We will be very sad to leave Portland Square, due to the limited size of our space. Marsh Street gives us much more space to grow & continue to make beautiful high-end curtains to our clients in and around Bristol.

• Borders •

Contrast borders can add such personality to Roman blinds, providing a practical solution to wider windows too. Here, we've used a terracotta plain linen border, picking out the earthy tones in the patterned fabric.

• Euro Pleat •

If you fancy a twist on the classic double pinch pleat - then a Euro pleat could be the answer. It's constructed in virtually the same way, the difference lies in where the Euro is hand sewn all along the top edge of the pinch pleat rather than near the base. We made a mini euro pleat cupboard skirt in Linwood Danube Indigo linen, a smart stripe turned on the horizontal.

Did you know that to make sure you achieve a truly straight line with a sheer linen - you have to pull a single thread out of the entire length & cut along the tiny line left in that thread’s wake?!

It’s a high-concentration mode job, much patience is needed… but the results are always rewarding ☺️

• PINTO •

Tradition with a twist, Pinto, from ROMO is an exquisite collection of luxury trims that bring a playful approach to a timeless craft. Drawing on the richness of heritage weaving, Pinto brings a modern sensibility to classic passementerie, offering refined finishing touches for upholstery, drapery and accessories.

From tapes and fringes to piping and braids, each design balances classic character with contemporary flair. Woven in the UK on traditional looms, the range features a sumptuous brush fringe, a graceful scallop trim, a spirited caterpillar braid and three woven braids, all designed to introduce texture, movement and colour. Decorative and plain piping cords complete the collection, delivering subtle highlights and refined finishing details. Designed to be layered together and combined in unexpected ways, Pinto invites a more imaginative approach to embellishment.

• HULA •

Introducing Hula, a new geometric fabric collection from Linwood that explores pattern through printed linens with hand embroidery - designs that unite both techniques. Drawing on archive references from the 19th century through to the 1930s, scallops, zigzags and stripes have been redrawn and repainted in Linwood's Hampshire studio, retaining the distinctive irregularity of the hand-drawn mark.

Screen printing, hand block printing and embroidery bring each design to life in a palette that moves from deep, saturated tones to softer, earthier shades. Pure linen and textured blended grounds lend warmth and depth, enhancing the individual character of each fabric.

Used alone or layered together, the collection brings colour, movement and visual rhythm to curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery.
