Yes, motherhood IS hard and absolutely comes with unique challenges for each one of us!However, we do a disservice to mothers when we chalk it up to just being a normal part of motherhood to suffer through. Because ongoing struggles like these while common are NOT something to just suffer through alone. 😣‼️These struggles are typically signs of a mood or anxiety disorder that begin during postpartum period…and these can even linger for years if untreated. They require support all around. ❤️😟Have you ever been told “it’s just motherhood” while experiencing these (or more) beyond the early days of motherhood? by @mommysbundle

When I was deep in the fog of early motherhood just trying to survive. ❤️🙋🏻‍♀️I used to think getting it “right” meant controlling everything — the routine, the mess, the rules.Now that I’m years past the baby phase, I see it differently.The moments I obsessed over? Forgotten.The moments I loosened my grip? It’s my birthday 🥳 and i had to blow out my candles too! 🎂 Because what do you mean I’m 44?! 🫠The last decade has been a whirlwind for sure with lots of challenges caring for myself while parenting three boys from the baby/toddlers to preteen/teens.I’ve had much growth and learning over the years through the struggles…only wish this version of me could meet that version of me. So I could share with younger me what I shouldn’t have stressed about, and what actually mattered most, for me included.And while I mainly focused on early postpartum topics here, I’ve been out of that season for years and want to include more of this current season I’m living too, (that has been shaped by those early experiences) - so more to come there! #ad One of my favorite parenting hacks lately has been giving myself permission to stop overthinking the cleanup. 🙌For years, there were certain meals I’d hesitate to make because I knew I’d be the one dealing with the aftermath. These days, if my family is craving the cheesy pasta, or extra-saucy recipes, I don’t stress as much.🧽Dawn Powerwash has become one of those products that quietly makes everyday life easier.
