Remember the story of the Celestial Lions? They are one of the few Chapters who openly defied the Inquisition to protect innocent lives. The price of their honor was devastating — engineered «accidents» and sniper fire during the War for Armageddon brought them to the very brink of extinction.

This miniature features bits from Liber Daemonica that capture the proud spirit of the surviving warriors of the pride. Equipped with the heavy Lion shield, a sleek Sparta sword, and the distinct MENDAX type Lions helmet. With these upgrades, the miniature completely breaks away from the stock plastic look, transforming into a true veteran of the Chapter.

Finally finished my kitbashed Blood Ravens Librarian. It's only been sitting on my desk unfinished since January 😶

It was a fun kitbash to do and the irony of using a Black Templar as the base kit is not lost on me!

Obviously this makes no sense lore wise but I had a box of Spirit Hosts sitting around with no plan for them so this Librarian has his own warp ghost friend!

For anyone wondering the only part of the kitbash that isn't GW plastic is the Blood Raven shoulder pad and it was got from @liberdaemonica

The Court of the Archon has a new power player: Lady Malys. One of the most cunning and dangerous figures in Commorragh, she’s the perfect blend of Drukhari elegance and sheer lethality.

I really pushed the contrast on this one, using a deep, metallic teal for the armor to give it that otherworldly, predatory sheen. The flowing white hair and those razor-sharp fans were the highlights for me — I wanted her to look like she’s caught in the middle of a graceful, deadly dance.
Lady Malys is now ready to outmaneuver her rivals and lead her Kabal to glory. In the Dark City, knowledge is the deadliest weapon of all!

Sorry it’s been a while - health and family issues have gotten in the way of my painting pledge.

However, I’m back, and have been cracking on with things. So here are my next 5 minis for the #millionminiatureschallenge : my first unit of #spacewolves40k #assaultterminators

As always, a quick rundown of credits:

Getting an Ultramarines force going in 30k. 1st couple of pics is my interpretation of Aeonid Theil and my Legion Champion. Last couple is a Cataphractii Praetor I am working on.

Slowly slowly going to get these prepped and painted for an event this June.
