✨Sunday Sermon courtesy of Harare’s @gemmamusic_ whose brand new single #ndichatarisa has been trending since its launch on Friday… A powerful testament to her unshakable faith, Ndichatarisa’, weaves spirituality into music’s very fabric. Its profound lyrics, “I will look to you when life is heavy,” deliver a message of hope, boundless resilience, and unwavering trust. Gemma’s soul-soothing vocals, coupled with the emotionally charged melody, create a musical haven where listeners can find solace during life’s challenges. Drawing from her profound storytelling talent and a deep passion for crafting poignant narratives, “Ndichatarisa” is an emotional symphony that will leave an indelible mark on every heart it touches. Gemma shares, “I penned ‘Ndichatarisa’ during a period of profound setbacks in my life. I felt lost amidst the turmoil, but as always, music became my refuge. It reminded me that even in life’s darkest moments, strength and guidance can be found through faith. I cried out to God, feeling unable to navigate the path to healing alone, and in Him, I found peace. ‘Ndichatarisa’ was my prayer, a part of my healing process, and I hope it resonates with others during times of pain.” Zimthrive very much approved. ✨Monday Motivation with Bulawayo’s @kylablac_ ✨ who kickstarts the week with her captivating and mesmerising single ‘Problem’ available on all digital streaming platforms now! Kyla’s IG chronicles the inspiring journey the track made, which began when influential Nigerian artist @alexpeter_idoko posted his art, using a snippet from her song. This sparked a social media frenzy, she could not ignore and so she and producer @murphy_cubic rushed to finish it. A triple threat, singer, songwriter and producer, Kyla is steadily gaining notoriety for her enchanting vocals. Also, a well-choreographed dancer, she brings a complete and unique package to the Zim music landscape. Her storytelling ability sparkles on this perfect blend of vintage soul and rnb which surely belongs in a movie soundtrack. Touching upon the struggles of love, it highlights the obstacles and complexities of relationships that many people can relate to. Kyla says, ✨ “There’s a saying that I was thinking about at the time of writing ‘Problem’, which goes - fool me once shame on you , fool me twice shame on me … Truth is many times we ignore red flags and put ourselves in positions that allow people to play us. I think it’s important to remind yourself of who you are and what you’re worth and that’s the inspiration behind the song”.✨ Fresh from her performance debut at the 3rd edition of @girlfestzw in Harare, alongside the likes of @djkingher and @dj_naida - keep your eyes peeled for this one! #futuresuperstaralert #zimthrive #zimthrive2023 #kylablac #inspiration #nigeria #zimbabwe #art by @zimthrive
