So often the best way to move forward is to quieten the noise and actually listen to yourself. And a retreat offers the perfect environment to do just that. Over the last few days, on the beautiful island of Menorca, I’ve been doing exactly that.

Once again I am reminded of the absolute magic that happens when women gather, give ourselves a break from the day-to-day and create space to connect not only with each other - making new friends as well as spending time with old ones - but to properly connect with ourselves.

I’m just returning from the most incredible few days on Retreat with @thecollectiveonretreat at the absolutely stunning Son Ermita hotel by @vestige.collections. We laughed, we cried, we moved our bodies in transformative yoga sessions with @rachaelrichardsyoga, we breathed deep, sound bathed, enjoyed @bramleyproducts massages and facials, we even connected with ancestors thanks to the incredible medium, Mandy Maxted. We watched and celebrated each other’s growth. The spiritual side of reinvention is a whole other journey I’m being pulled to explore further.

Curated by our wonderful host @claire.vero, I was honoured lead a journaling workshop where we took a moment to pause, reflect and organise what matters the most.

I’ve got so much more to reflect on, and tell you about this, but for now here are a few images from an unforgettable - some would say, life-changing - few days.

Who fancies a bit of this…? We’re plotting already… 💭

I’m so very bad at posting! But I’ve been back in the UK for well over a year now, so I thought it was about time I got these up! I’ve lost the will to organise them, so it’s turned into a bit of a photo dump… Oh well, I’ve been a little bit busy!

It’s been a year of many international flights, flying back to Australia three times, trips to America, France and Amsterdam, and a holiday in Cornwall. Moving back to the UK, setting up a new Co-Partnership office with the help of my incredible team, reconnecting with family, friends and my industry over here, making new friends, judging awards (and winning a few!), and moving house five times! Somewhere in amongst all of that, I’ve also made East London home which I love.

A quick behind-the-scenes glimpse at a few of my favourite packs from this week’s @pentawards judging.

It’s always a privilege to pick up, handle and experience these designs firsthand - to appreciate the creativity, craftsmanship and attention to detail, while uncovering the strategic thinking behind every execution.

Spending time with so many inspiring entries, alongside some of the industry’s leading design minds, is one of the highlights of the year.
