Gardening season is coming to a close. The last sunflowers are past their peak, this year my sunflowers got to be over 6 feet tall and I’m so proud of myself for doing this for a 3rd year in a row. This is my tradition now and I look forward to it every year so I can see my little goth chocolatey sunflowers sprout and bloom 🪻🌻. Until next year 🖤 by @zoedadinosaur
Happy world goth day from my little garden so far, I’m still waiting on the pumpkins, sunflowers and hollyhocks to grow and bloom but so far I’ve got these babies making my garden look pretty 🪻🖤🍄‍🟫. I’ve had my goth sunflowers and pumpkins tradition for a few years now but this year i wanted to expand and try and find the rarest, darkest plants and flowers. So far, i love how everything is looking and I’m still hunting for more 🪴🖤 by @zoedadinosaur
I felt like I was in a dream 🌷🖤 by @zoedadinosaur
An entire decade today 🖤 Being clean means many different things for me, and those all look different. If you would have told me 10 years ago I’d finally leave my bulimia behind, I wouldn’t believe it. I tried so hard for a few months until I finally got through one day without throwing up. I wouldn’t have gotten through it if I didn’t start self medicating and getting into the unfortunate world of opioids. Eventually I left those behind too. Being sixteen was the hardest time of my life. I hid my deepest secrets from everyone I knew. It was exhausting, I was so foggy back then it’s hard to remember how I got through those days. I spent more time in the hospital than I did at school some days. I’d go days without showing up, skipping an entire school day in the bathroom. It got so bad they had an intervention for me. All my teachers, the principal, my counselor, my therapist on the phone, my mom. I was at rock bottom. A decade later I feel robbed from my teenage experience. I didn’t get to be excited about football games, or homecoming week, I barely made it to prom. I long for a life in which I got to experience high school the way I saw it in movies. Now I feel so far behind in life sometimes. I feel stuck at 16, I feel so childish sometimes. But I’ve learned to accept it now. I’ve grown in the last decade. I’ve left the bad habits that harmed me. I’ve met amazing people and sometimes I get a taste of what it’s like to be a teenager. I had very few friends who thankfully stuck by me in those desperate times, I’ll never forget the kindness they showed even when they didn’t understand or fully knew what was happening to me. I’m glad we are all still in contact and I love to see them thriving too. My family was as understanding as they could and never let me feel ashamed, they always encouraged me even when they knew I was slipping away. Happy 10 years to me 🖤 I survived the worst time of my life, I chose to see another sunrise and experience all the amazing things I would become. by @zoedadinosaur
