Our first Mail Drop for The Fourth is happening this NOV! With a very limited 25 spots for our first drop! Set your alarms for Monday October 5th where you can sign up (first in best dressed). Our mail drop is $14 a month opt in or out each month (spots will increase) and I wont be showing you eveythingggg each month prior so it’s a surprise! Meant to be a little excitement each month for mummas that isnt a bill or spam plus a little letter from someone I dearly love every time! Each month there will be lots of things to collect and keep such as stickers, prints, book marks etc etc I have shown what will be in this months!

Hi, I’m Zoe 👋🏼

Probably should’ve introduced myself earlier lol.
I’m the person behind The Fourth.
I’m a mum to Lenny, a wife, coffee obsessed, and currently figuring out who I am in this version of life.
I absolutely love being a mum. Like, genuinely love it. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done.
But becoming a mum also made me realise just how much we don’t talk about.
The identity shifts, relationships, friendships, family, Our bodies, mental health, health, chronic illness after birth, breastfeeding,
the weird feelings you don’t know if you’re allowed to say out loud, missing parts of your old life while being completely obsessed with the one you have now and the list goes onnnnnnnn

And somewhere along the way, I became really passionate about having those conversations with my other mum friends like where was our warning
Not because I have all the answers I absolutely do not 😂 but because I think there’s something really powerful about hearing another mums say “me too.”
That’s why I made The Fourth.
A place for the beautiful bits, the fun bits, the hard bits, the funny bits, the weird bits, the surely someone could’ve mentioned this bits
I love motherhood but I’m also still figuring it out.

And I reckon we should probably talk about it.

I’ve gone back and forth on how much of this part I want to share.
Mostly because I’m still very much living it, everyday but I also know this is why I started this whole thing to share the things that aren’t spoken about enough.

I still have postpartum depression, it is very real in my every day life. Some days are really good. Some days absolutely are not. And for a very long time I was exceptionally good at telling the people closest to me I was fine
I was not fine, not at all
I’m getting help now, but probably the biggest change, I’m actually talking about it.
I don’t have a big recovery story yet or five things that fixed me because that’s not really how PPD works
I’m just somewhere in the middle, figuring it out, everyday.

And I think maybe we need more conversations from the middle.
Not just the before and after.

Im not posting this to ask for compassion or to check in just genuinely want more mums to understand that it’s ok to feel this way and hoping my journey will help mums feel seen.

6 months of our Lenny ❤️

He is a big mum and dad boy, will smile at anyone walking past, big home body and we can tell he is already a big foodie just like us. We love u Lenny and we love being your mum and dad xx by @thefourthcommunity
