Tiger Drink: A way to ward against bad luck

This Tiger drink is a traditional mead (honey wine) made with fresh native Korean fruits and pure wild honey from Namyangju.

Inspired by the Joseon Dynasty’s old folk culture of warding off bad luck, its bottles have unique “Tiger Amulet” labels. It is actually aromatic yet refreshing, and not too sweet.

While having lunch at ROOT in Anguk - such a hidden gem in Soul, we discovered this beverage. It’s a very dangerous drink because it was so easy to finish the full bottle. Food was remarkably delicious and perfectly presented. We had ceviche, truffle pasta and slow cook duck. It was a full on lovely lunch experience with the Korean fusion cuisine and this wine in such a beautitul renovated hanok.

Great discovery of Baekse-ju in my recent Korea trip! For a cleaner finish, I prefer sake to soju. This rice-based Baekse-ju is a Korean sake infused with twelve medicinal herbs, such as ginseng, omija and goji berries. In addition to having the lovely “Hundred Years Old” that is perfect for a birthday dinner and conveys your sincere wishes for longevity and good health to someone special, this Baekse-ju’s clean finishing and subtle ginseng herbal aroma go well with most Asian dishes, including Korean cuisine. I really recommend this to everyone!

A fortified dessert wine from Jura🖤 by @zoelydiawine

⭐️Best of the best table wine⭐️

Whoever chose this wine as the only serving red wine for an event should win a prize! It’s unstoppably seductive with vibrant floral and fruit notes, also with earthy and mineral qualities.

Beautiful Cabernet Franc from Saumur-Champigny of the Loire Valley, produced by Arnaud Lambert @domainearnaudlambert by @zoelydiawine

Trying this Tabalí ‘Talinay’ Chardonnay from the Limarí Valley, Chile, which is known for its distinct minerality, salinity, and Chablis-like character, derived from its high-altitude vineyards with limestone soils. It’s a well-structured wine with minerality and good depth of floral and fruit flavors and a touch of oak, making it a beautiful gastronomic wine with excellent aging potential.

The second wine is a German pinot noir Spätburgunder Frey, been my third time to drink this wine. Always an incredible choice for a causal dinner. by @zoelydiawine

Beautiful lunch at Racines.
This Marsannay Pinot Noir brings magic to both the appetizer (Pomelo with beef tongue and heart, almost gamey as lamb) and the main (Three-Yellow Chicken with black truffle)!
And the Vin de Paille with the dessert is definitely the perfect end for the experience.

Seriously not sure what wine goes well this special fusion pincho with both sweet (rice cake base) and savory (fresh sea urchin) flavors. Maybe champagne will be the right choice!

Thank you chef @ivanlamfunyeh for the amazing dinner!! by @zoelydiawine

Bye Calculus, but this wine label is fascinating!!
