A little Prague photo dump 🇨🇿✨

Who knew that my love for dance would take me across the world and give me the chance to experience new cultures, meet incredible people, and make memories I’ll carry with me forever? 🌍❤️

Prague, you have a piece of my heart! From your beautiful architecture and cobblestone streets to the magic around every corner, I fell in love with a city I’ll never forget. This trip was about so much more than dance. It opened my eyes to how big and beautiful the world is and how many amazing places there are left to explore.

I came to Prague chasing a dream on the dance floor, but I’m leaving with a new love for travel, a camera roll full of memories, friendships across the world, and a serious case of the travel bug. ✈️

Forever grateful that dance is giving me opportunities and experiences beyond anything I could have imagined. The world is so much bigger than I knew, and I can’t wait to see more of it. 🤍🇨🇿

Prague, thank you for the memories. Until the next adventure! ✨ by @zozo.taps.4.life

From the moment I walked into the arena for the very first time, I was filled with nerves, excitement, and a million emotions. I had dreamed of this moment, but nothing could have prepared me for what the IDO World Tap Dance Championships would truly mean to me. 🌎✨

From stepping onto the world stage and competing alongside my incredible Team USA teammates to making friendships with dancers from all around the world, this experience has been more than I ever imagined. I came to Prague with a dream, and I’m leaving with memories, friendships, lessons, and two gold medals that I will cherish forever. 🥇🥇🇺🇸

I am so incredibly humbled by this entire journey. It pushed me outside my comfort zone, challenged me in ways I never expected, and showed me just how powerful dance can be in bringing people together from all corners of the world.

A special thank you to my amazing coaches @nancy_chippendale , @corylunny, @kendall.hulburt and @kellicarberry for believing in me, pushing me to be better, challenging me to reach beyond what I thought was possible, and always supporting me every step of the way. I would not be the dancer I am today without you. ❤️

Prague, you will forever have a piece of my heart. This is an experience I will carry with me for the rest of my life. The medals are amazing, but the people, the memories, and the lessons are what make this journey truly unforgettable.

From Gloucester to the world stage — forever grateful, forever Team USA. 🇺🇸🌍

TWO-TIME WORLD CHAMPIONS! 🏆🇺🇸

I am SO incredibly proud of every single one of my Team USA teammates! ❤️💙 What we put in at the studio through all the hard work, dedication, long hours, and endless practice truly shows when we step onto that stage. This is proof that hard work really does pay off! 🇺🇸✨

We dreamed of this moment, worked for this moment, and now we get to call ourselves TWO-TIME WORLD CHAMPIONS! 🥹🏆#2timeworldchamps #IDO #Tapdance #danceislife #goldmedalist🏅 by @zozo.taps.4.life

We’re so pleased to introduce our final choreographer for this year’s Tapoween, a young lady you might recognize…Zoë Butler!

Zoë is a passionate 11-year-old tap dancer from Gloucester, Massachusetts. She trains at Cape Ann Center for Dance and is a member of the Chloé & Maud Arnold Sole Talk Youth Company. Zoë has dedicated herself to growing as a dancer while learning from incredible teachers and mentors who have encouraged her to find her own voice and style.

Over the years, Zoë has grown tremendously as both a dancer and performer. She has earned recognition for her hard work, musicality, creativity, and love of tap, including being named an I AMbassador. Last year, she made the goal of joining Team USA for the 2026 IDO World Tap Dance Championships, and we’re pleased to share that she accomplished that goal and will represent her country in Prague, Czech Republic in October! Other notable performance opportunities include the 25th anniversary of the Tony Williams Dance Center’s Urban Nutcracker in Boston.

Zoë has a deep love for Halloween and all things spooky, mysterious, and macabre. She is fascinated by the darker side of storytelling and draws inspiration from Edgar Allan Poe, whose haunting imagery, eerie atmosphere, and unforgettable characters speak to her creative side. She’s excited to participate in Tapoween for her second year, and to have the chance to combine her love of storytelling, performance, costumes, and the wonderfully strange.
