Regaining my lust for life 🫦 #thirty by @zzshinelle
thanks girl and happy mother’s day to you every day! by @zzshinelle
ZZ Desiaq is now thirty, (still) flirty, + thriving baby💋🍒. Celebrating 30 has been quite unconventional, but seeing as it’s spanning across 3 different seasons, I’ll allow it ;) •3/31• 📸: @perridanielle thank you for capturing some of my essence at @perriandren by @zzshinelle
At 6 years of abstinence, something gotta give, so now we’re adding spicy toys to the mix to try and upgrade my self pleasure practice. So far, I’m unimpressed, but imma give this toy another chance. #abstinence #selfpleasure by @zzshinelle
I never thought I’d eat meat again, but here I am🤯. I’m grateful for all that I’ve learned from being vegan, but also upset that it took me this long to recognize this diet isn’t healthy for me. Ironic how when I started my journey towards veganism with pescatarianism, I’d make fish + grits all the time, then I ate fish + grits to break my vegan streak. s/o to little brunch from @littlelosangeles_ Veganism is where I’ve been most disciplined in my life with abstinence being the runner up, hopefully that ends this year too 🤭 CHEERS TO MORE PLEASURE🌺 Special shoutout to my friends for supporting me on this special day @perridanielle @thanksrae @artismyeuphoria 🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾 #antivegan #formervegan #veganism #foodvlog by @zzshinelle
After 8+ years of not eating animals, on August 3, 2025, I have denounced the vegan diet 👹. This was a difficult decision for me considering I’ve been vegan for the majority of my adult life. I chose to be vegan (plant-based) for health reasons first and foremost. Before this, I was afraid to try new foods and I could count on my hands how many vegetables I ate. During my 2nd semester at Tuskegee, I ate nothing but hamburgers, fries, + PBJs because the caf food was terrible! I became extremely frustrated with my fear of eating vegetables because I knew that my body wasn’t getting enough nutrients. I also knew that if I had control over cooking vegetables, I’d be less afraid to try them, but I lived in a dorm, so that wasn’t possible. Thankfully my finesse game was strong and I convinced Ms. Patrick to let me get an on-campus apartment my Sophomore year because by my 4th semester, I’d have enough credits to technically be a Junior, which was the requirement to get one. When I went home for summer break (2015), I slowly transitioned into being pescatarian. Jada Pinkett-Smith cutting her hair at the end of Set It Off inspired me to make the brave step…I cut my hair off months later. That first couple of months in my apartment, I cooked nothing but fried fish + grits and grits + eggs (w| spinach in them to get some nutrition lol). During the first day of my internship (May 15, 2017) I became vegan. Prior to this, I had started cooking only vegan meals in my home, but would eat pescatarian while dining out (there were limited vegan options in Alabama). Over the past 2 years I’ve assessed my health to see if it improved since being vegan and the answer was no, it actually became worse. I knew then, that I had to bring my vegan journey to an end. #antivegan #formervegan #veganism by @zzshinelle
LA, can I pull you for a chat? 🤭 We’re having a 🦩Love Island Season Finale Watch Party on Sunday, July 13 from 5-8pm with the finale streaming at 6pm. You (and your friends) should definitely slide through! If you have no one to talk to about the show with, you do now! If you and your friends have been watching it at home, then debriefing over the phone afterwards, y’all can come watch it together and debrief in real time! This is a ✨free community gathering✨ at Perri + Ren, a black and brown, queer- woman owned art gallery. We will be indoors watching the finale on a full sized projector. 🍿Complimentary light drinks and refreshments will be served. 🍷Wine will be available on a donation basis. You are welcome to bring your own favorite drinks and snacks as well! (ZZ’s thoughts) Chelley and Ace getting eliminated on Friday was so disappointing ☹️, but I (ZZ) will see this to the end for Nicolandria! And if anyone wants to have a respectful and spirited debate 👩🏾‍⚖️ about our picks and why, you’re coming to the right space. Which couple did you vote to win it all? 🧐 #LoveIslandFinale #LoveIslandWatchParty #nicolandria #amayapapaya #loveislandusa by @zzshinelle
You know I come first 💋 #me #me #me Which seems a lil ironic since 29 is more focused on the “we”, but I know that through choosing myself, I empower myself and with that limitless power, I can uplift us. …last year in my 20s and I’m actually looking forward to it. My 20s have mostly been hard as hell and now I’m gonna end them dominantly (cause that’s just how I am ;P ) and deliciously. When you aren’t where you want to be in life, getting older can be another reminder of that and instead of feeling gratitude, you feel dissatisfaction. 7 years ago, I made a life shifting decision and didn’t know what all was ahead of me, but I knew that was the decision I had to make. I’ve questioned that decision, hated that I needed to make that decision, loved that I made that decision, and everything in between. Through all of that, I would make the same decision again. There were times where I thought I had reached my end and I couldn’t fight any longer, but baby I wasn’t going down (or staying down) and as the lord of the phoenix🐦‍🔥, still I rise. I’ve wiped my spyglass clean and with renewed clarity, I see the path that I designed clearly. So, for 29, I am well, renewed, and grateful that my tide has turned. I am exactly where I need to be, receiving everything that belongs to me. by @zzshinelle
