“being the first isn’t easy, but it’s worth it🤍” Hi loves, if you’re new here, welcome to my little corner of beauty, wellness, + skincare. 🤍 I wanted to reintroduce myself because so much has evolved, and I’m so grateful you’re here for the journey. I’ve been a makeup artist since the age of 14… lol yes, 14! I actually started in dance school and piano school, doing makeup for competitions and recitals. I’ve been traveling to see clients since that age, I remember my dad would take me to the MAC store to buy makeup for my kit and drive me to my clients house and wait for me outside. Being in art school at such a young age taught me early on that my heart lived in creativity. I fell in love with colors, textures, blending, and the way makeup felt like painting… except the canvas was a face. Even as a little girl, I remember sneaking into my mom’s makeup bag, completely mesmerized. Beauty always felt like art to me…a way to express myself, feel confident, and make others feel their best too. That love eventually led me to start @soloparatillc my all-natural skincare line. I created it right after graduating from my pre-med program during the pandemic, at a time when life felt heavy and uncertain. I got my Bachelor’s degree in health science but had struggled with sensitive, acne-prone skin for years, and I wanted gentle, clean solutions that actually worked so I made them myself. I had broken out in hives and created a body butter to help nourish and soothe my skin. What started as self-care in my aunt’s kitchen grew into something so much bigger. Makeup helped me build confidence growing up… but skincare helped me embrace myself. Solo Para Ti exists for that reason…to help you love your skin, not cover it. To remind you that taking care of yourself is an act of art, too. Whether you’ve been here since day one or you’re just joining, thank you for supporting my artistry, my business, and my heart. I’m excited to share more of my work, my routine, my story, and everything in between. Here’s to beauty, creativity, and skin you feel proud to live in. Xx, — Pam 🤍 by @000pam00
Since starting my business in 2020, my life has changed dramatically. I’ve experienced incredible highs and profound lows, facing challenges I never imagined. Working in healthcare, having to go to different hospitals and medical facilities during the pandemic was intense, but being diagnosed with cancer in 2023 brought a pain like no other. Despite these hardships, life kept moving forward, and I had to navigate the complexities of starting and running a business from scratch @soloparatillc This journey led me to create Solleo Consulting, where I now help aspiring entrepreneurs build and expand their beauty and skincare brands. I started this venture because I wish I had the guidance and support that I now offer to others. as we close out october and bring in November we reflect on hispanic heritage month…we couldn’t let this moment go by without celebrating something so special to us. from starting solo para ti in my aunt’s kitchen while pursuing pre-med, to launching during a global pandemic, to now having our story shared in @essence a moment i’ll forever be grateful for. as a Latina, a daughter of immigrants, and the woman behind this little brand, there’s so much pride in seeing how far we’ve come. what started as a passion for skincare and creating space for women who looked like me has grown into something so much bigger than i ever imagined. a special thank you to @essence for taking the time to hear our story and highlighting Latina-owned businesses. representation matters, and being able to share even a small part of our journey means everything. and to everyone who’s supported us, shopped with us, shared our products, or simply believed in our vision, thank you. none of this would be possible without you. be sure and to click the link in our bio to read the full article! here’s to honoring where we come from, celebrating how far we’ve come, and everything that’s still ahead. 🕊️ with love, pam, founder of solo para ti 🤍 by @000pam00
