SLIPSHOD FESTIVAL 🐖💥

Here’s a selection of leaked footage from our takeover with RigPig, Desmond 2-2 and MCAT.

The lighting did an absolute number on our cameras, so apologies for some of the footage looking like it was recovered from a 2007 Nokia. On the dancefloor, however, it looked fucking gorgeous.

Big love to everyone who came down to the help desk for a stomp with us — both the familiar faces and all the new friends we made! 🫶

Massive thanks to Slipshod for having us down (up? sideways? We still don’t know where we were). We had an absolute blast, and we’re very excited to watch this festival continue to grow into an even bigger, more chaotic beast.

See you in the fields. 🐖

Lots of love,

Join us for a night of tekno, donk, bounce and hard dance, raising money for Off The Record – Freedom, supporting queer and trans young people in Bristol. @otrbristol

ALL proceeds from the night will be donated to the cause.

Consider it a modest contribution to the common good, paired with an immodest quantity of offensive sounds.

📍 The Red Lion BS5
🕗 8pm–1am

See you in the sty.

🐷Meet MCat 🐷

The sassiest kitty in the underground bringing fierce tekno, neuro chaos, and enough cattitude to keep everyone on their toes. Prowling the venues of Bristol, Amen4Tekno and Boomtown, she is clawing her way to the top!

If you hear heavy bass and spot a mischievous grin, chances are MCAT's nearby. 😼⚡🐈‍⬛

BREAKING NEWS FROM THE PIG PEN RESEARCH FACILITY:

After years of intensive field work in muddy fields, smoke-filled tents and suspicious afterparties, our team of highly unqualified scientists have finally isolated a previously undocumented frequency leaking directly from a festival-goer’s lower chakras.

Early reports describe symptoms including:
• accidental two-steping
• bass-face paralysis
• losing your mates at 4am
• becoming spiritually connected to a random smoke machine

We’ll be presenting our findings live this summer at:

✨ Bedlam Ball | 3–5 July
✨ Slipshod Festival | 10–12 July
✨ Sound City Festival | 4–6 September

Peer review pending.
Medical approval denied.
Mannequin recovering well.

Hard kicks, harder rolls 🥚💥
Even the Pigpen crew takes Easter seriously… this egg rolling comp got competitive real quick 👀
But don’t get it twisted, while we’re out here perfecting our technique, we’ve been cooking up something way bigger behind the scenes… 👀🔥
Big moves. Big energy. Big Pigs 🐷🐷
Stay tuned later this week for eggciting news🔥🔊

The Team (Part 3) 👇

MegAM: Meg AM is a Bristol based DJ, who plays a blend of grime, dubstep and garage. She began DJing in 2018, and has played venues across Bristol, Norwich and Brighton. Meg has appeared on Keep Hush, Rinse FM, SWU FM, and at events like Eskimo Dance and Nass Festival.

MCat: MCAT is a Bristol-based DJ from Torquay, whose love of electronic music started in the underground scene. A resident of the Pig Pen Collective, MCAT likes to keep it hard and fast taking inspiration from the Amen4Tekno crew amongst others, donning genres such as tekno, hardtek, hardcore, donk and DnB, providing that chaotic hardcore energy you want in the dance.

Miss Bee Spinner: Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee, Miss Bee Spinner coming at thee. Bringing the buzz with some sweet tracks, from Hardtek, Frenchcore and absolute nonsense. Swarm to the stage and get your waggles dancing to some absurd remixes, designed to get the hive vibing. This Dancing Queen will get you booty shaking like nobody’s watching, leaving you feel high on nectar. See you on the dancefloor, over where the speakers go bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
