It’s been a few days since I received this award and I’m still elated, thankful, and grateful for this. To say the least, I was shocked to win and hear my name called for a third win in this category. I would not have this award without the support of Brooklyn - for all the bars letting me Gogo each weekend for you, run the parties alongside Janelle No. 5, and be truly the best version of myself.
•
Shoutout to Metropolitan Bar, the Janelle No. 5 presents family, and my Brooklyn community for allowing me to be me in these spaces and to continue to entertain you all, to foster the future greatness in nightlife, and letting the Dad in me come shine through.
•
I also want to point out that yes this was another look that I made for myself while being awarded. Inspired by nightlife past, movies that drew me into subcultures of nightlife, and music videos that were cinematic with nods to those in the spotlight!

NIGHT OF 1000 STEVIES- MOONLIGHT 🌕🕊️✨
•
Before the month is over I need to make sure that the diva herself gets some recognition. I have been doing Night of 1000 Stevie’s for over ten plus years now and this event is so magical, fun, whimsical, and always transformative for me every time I’m there. Being able to celebrate music I grew up listening to around the house to now being a yearly method Gogo for NOTS is a huge turn around for my life and myself in nightlife.
•
I get to share the stage with one bestie that I’ve known for over ten years (like damn!) and we still get to have fun together and be fun, spread our love, and dance and for that I love you @lindseylmill. I’m also thankful for @iv.fischer for being by my side and help assist me the last two years and being open to experiencing this other side of me that rarely ever comes out but when it does it’s still a fab time.
•
I also want to thank the @jackiefactorynyc @1000stevies family for including me and letting Angel Lina spread her wings and her love to the crowd and let the magic come alive. This event has been going on for over 30 years and the fact that it’s still going goes to show that dreams never die - just keep believing and pushing for things you want to make happen!
