Turns out there are a few moving parts to landing in a moving car.

This was a first for me, and for @0tombaker (driving). We engineered it so that I and the car would meet right at the number 4 on the runway. Getting us there at the same speed at the same time was a little tricky!

We only had 1 day to get this done, and I'm stoked that the team stuck with it and we managed to put all the pieces together on the last jump of the day.

Thanks @whit_milam and @_orbit_media_ for bearing with us to get the shot! Also, thanks @paracletexp for trusting us not to run each other over.

When one season ends, another begins!

Competing in the World Championship was an awesome and rewarding challenge this year. I had a lot of doubts about what life would look like after my serious injury 2 years ago. It was a big internal statement to get on the world podium twice last week.

Despite being stoked on the results, I missed out on a lot of the creative stuff I enjoy this summer while training for competition, so I decided to celebrate my newfound freedom with a relaxing cruise with the top down.

Thanks @0tombaker for lending your chauffeur skills, @whit_milam and @_orbit_media_ for nailing the shot, @paracletexp for trusting us not to run each other over, and everyone at the dropzone for sticking around to jump so that we could get this done!

And as always, thanks @fluidwings, @uptvector and @deepandsteep for making the best tools to get the job done 💥🤘

Round 8 from Nationals last week. We were the only team in the field to score on the totem exit. Since we didn't get full altitude on this round (and the working time was almost cut in half), nailing that exit was a great start to a round that helped us secure our silver medal position on the podium.

We couldn't have done it without the awesome training environment provided by @paracletexp

When half of your friends want to fly parachutes and the other half want to freefly!

One of my visions for Up in Smoke was to visually link maneuvers we do in freefall with those we do flocking. So, we decided to fly a freefall group past a canopy group. A little bit of math and planning let us get this shot on the first try in a safe and confident way, and it was a really fun challenge to do with the crew!

Training days in MFS look like:

- Regularly bellying out on freefly jumps like you were taught never to do.
- Constantly dodging banana peels in freefall.
- Always flying at the wrong airspeed.

Follow for more helpful tips.

Interlaced Passthroughs are super stimulating... so we did them everywhere at Up in Smoke III 😎

It takes a good planning and lots of trust to set these up. That moment where we shoot the gap, after all the anticipation and time spent setting it up, is a climactic dopamine hit of epic proportions 🤤
