FERMI presents... Party of Life 🦋

Saturday 7 November we’d love to invite 🫵🏼 you 🫵🏼 to celebrate life with us at @hetdorp.amsterdam at the IJ waterfront behind Amsterdam Centraal!

the ‘Party of Life’ name comes from Keith Haring’s infamous birthday parties at the Paradise Garage. he threw the first one in 1984 with music by Larry Levan and Madonna singing Like a Virgin in public for the first time.. the invitations were screen printed onto napkins (slide 3) which we sent to @grim_mim_ for inspiration for the artwork, and we absolutely love her enchanting interpretation..

Doors open 20:00 with Indonesian food by @cafe_warung_pas, party from 22:00 until 03:00.

Tickets in the usual spot.

While Amsterdam spins faster and faster, @fermi.ams builds nights that unfold slowly.

FERMI is an Amsterdam-based party collective founded by @0xjiminal and @0xmeniac, throwing intimate gatherings in dreamlike places built around warm, soulful sounds with a cosmic edge. Formed as an alternative to repetitive club circuits, FERMI builds entire nights around a single selector, transforming DIY spaces with custom sound systems and long-form sets that allow the artist to explore the full breadth of their sound.

This Saturday, as part of the IRL Tour, they invite disco connoisseur @djloude for a rare 6-hour session at @detankerinnoord.

For this IRL Map to Amsterdam, Jiminal and Meniac share the rooms and kitchens that shape their rhythm, the dancefloors they trust by night and the record shops, cozy corners, and food spots they return to by day.

🦍🌈 FERMI PRESENTS: MONKEY TIMERS 🦍🌈

On 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟯𝟬 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆, FERMI returns to Amsterdam for a special edition, as we welcome Monkey Timers for their first-ever Netherlands appearance.

Monkey Timers are @takekawa_mts and @hisashikiyota. Active in Tokyo’s underground since the early 2000s, they officially formed the duo in 2008. In 2009, they founded @diskoklubb_tokyo alongside Yamarchy and Jitsumitsu - a crew that has become a quiet pillar of Japan’s underground disco scene.

Beyond Monkey Timers, they also operate as @gagjapan, a production project with Keita Sano. Their releases on Optimo Music have been tried, tested, and proven on dancefloors around the world. Anarchic, psychedelic music built through sampling and unique FX, made to shake the floor for open-minded music lovers.

We’ve seen them multiple times over the years: at Mitsuki in Tokyo, Rainbow Disco Club Bali, and a very special night at Panorama Bar. Always killer.

Daiki and Jiminal & Meniac on warm-up duties, Monkey Timers bring it home.

We never run these nights for profit. The aim is simply to cover the room, the sound, and the artists. Everyone inside is equal. We ask you to respect the space and the people around you, and to come for the music and the community. These nights exist to celebrate underground artists who have put real time into the culture - and to build special nights around them.
