can we realistically stop caring about people’s opinions ? i don’t think we can stop caring but i think we can learn how to not let it affect us in most cases. it’s normal to allow someone’s opinions affect us depends on the person. hearing a stranger opinion has less weight than someone else we personally know (family, friend, boyfriend, girlfriend, etc). it’s nothing wrong with caring but to constantly change your behavior, your decisions, your personality, your appearance, etc because of what people say about you is the problem. don’t let people change you for who you are & what you like/enjoy. we have different interests/boundaries so why care what anyone say about that ? let people talk. at the end of the day you are your own person so you can only make the decisions for yourself & what benefits you or makes you feel comfortable (in a good way). but sometimes opinions is not always bad. some can be useful & that’s fine. in certain situations sometimes we actually do need to hear what people are saying without shutting them down. so instead of stop caring about opinions i think we can care less about their opinions depends on the situation & the purpose behind it. #beyourself #sometimesopinionsmatter #notallopinionsmatter by @100kbre

taking accountability means to reflect on your behavior/actions & actually acknowledging what you did wrong & owning up to it. you compromise/learn from your mistakes. you don’t have to be perfect to call someone out but to refuse to take accountability is hypocritical & expecting someone to own up theirs & you can’t accept yours by @100kbre
