Do you swear to funk, the whole funk and nothing but the funk? Sam Butterfield wants to know. Having gained some valuable off-beat experience in ska powerhouse Madame Claude, Butterfield is back on one with his debut solo expedition - crossing the disco desert with 'Simply. Butterfield'. Featuring ripping solos from Zack Balakrishna and Alex Mockler, vocal sass from Agatha Kirsty and only the funkiest beats from Sam Hinds, expect nothing but quality. It's simply brilliant. It's simply bodacious! It's simply. Butterfield.

Stoked to be releasing this new EP project from CAM CALM, an emerging alternative Hip-hop artist based in Manchester, UK.

His debut EP 'L O A D I N G . . . 'sees him face struggles like heartbreak and moving from home while trying to find himself and his own sound. The EP is comprised of nearly all self-instrumentation, with WAKE UP and LET IT GO, plus WAKE UP featuring collaborator Harvey on co-production and vocals, with Fin Avgousti co-producing and mixing on 'OUT CRY'.

Really excited to release the Tether EP by Michael Parnell on 1043.
We've watched his project develop over the last year, and how fab it's turned out!

Blending noughties alt-rock, he uses a range of filters and musical textures, giving his sound a distinct, uncompromising identity.

The EP moves through themes of isolation, introspection, and emotional heft; supported by loud, expressive guitars and heartfelt keys, carving out a melancholic yet powerful space that is entirely his own.

Great wok Michael - the first off many accomplished works we hope!👏

We're stoked to tell you that Luke Simpson has dropped his debut album, Murals, on 1043.

Taking us on a raw, atmospheric journey rooted in a lifetime of sonic obsession. A collection of inspired transitions between gritty phone-made loops to heavyweight production, Simpson’s sound is a sharp, eclectic fusion of his UK roots.

Check out the sounds on a bio.

Really special night. Massive thanks to @1043recordings for having me on!

I got to play Veil for the first time live, a song from my upcoming Debut EP Tether and hear it rattle the room.

Opened for @fooled_ya_fighters who put on an amazing show afterward..
As i was arriving i could hear their drums from down the street

Again huge thanks to 1043 and all of the staff at Futureworks for the best time at uni I could’ve asked for!

Producer and mastered by @lukesimpson3000 @glmastering @futureworks, @xkenzielynx is an undergraduate specialising in Performance Studies at @bangor_university. We're delighted to be releasing her debut single on @1043recordings - So sterling covers of 'Nothing Compares 2 U', with the B-side a live cover of 'Help Yourself'. The EP is a homage to two of her musical inspirations, Sinéad O'Connor and Amy Winehouse, embodying their distinct styles in her own way. What a voice🔥 taken in Futureworks by @1043recordings

Excited to share that my new album Galleries is out on Friday 3rd April! 3 years in the making, it's been both a personal and technical journey with the music.

Grateful to everyone who helped bring it to life. Pete Smith @bassdoc66 for his bass expertise, Mike Weaver @musicmikemcr acoustic guitar and Niamh Connor @niamhlilyconnor vocal harmonies both of whom made my cover of 'In Dreams' sound so beautiful.

Fabulous masters by Graeme Lynch @gralymastering

Of course the album would not have been possible without the fabulous guitar playing of Altin Gjoni @altin__guitar who also co-wrote one of my favourite tracks from the Album 'Maybe We Can Dance'

Available on all streaming platforms on Friday!
