Thank you so much to everyone who came out to what ended up being for sure one of the most ridiculous sparring events I’ve ever seen 😂 I will treasure always the memory of a dinosaur and Britney Spears fighting each other.

Happy Halloween, and I’m sorry to everyone who had to deal with me saying shit like “I’m built different” and “I’m an alpha male” while I stayed in character as one of my online trolls 🥀 by @10kicks_seattle

We missed the trend, so we’re calling this a Halloween post.

Your witch-led tour of Ten Kicks starts here. Three functional training areas across two floors, with room to hit pads, lift heavy, and get your sweat on.

Brooms optional. Training encouraged.

Broom tour filmed and created by our high school intern, EP. by @10kicks_seattle

Big congratulations to @jfresh_jits and Monica for a couple of great performances at the Rev today! Both were coming off long layoffs from competition, but the hard work they’ve been putting in in training showed. Jermaine got some excellent work in against tough competition, including scoring a nasty takedown and making fantastic adjustments between matches. Monica got a dominant win by points in her first match, then grabbed a lightning fast back take to win her second by RNC and take home gold.

Congrats and great job, super proud of you both! Big thank you to the @10kicks_seattle team for helping them prepare and showing up to cheer them on!

P.S. We didn’t feel like waiting for a photo with the official backdrop so happy prom 2024

P.P.S. Swipe to see me cornering in a very quiet, demure voice as usual, courtesy of @_.st3lly._ by @10kicks_seattle

Let’s be real, nobody saw this going any differently 😂

Thank you so much to @kristeezyoga for the amazing (and entertaining) yoga instruction over the weekend! Be sure to check out one of her regular classes - in probably a more relaxing environment 🤪 by @10kicks_seattle

Congratulations to everyone who completed our first Into to Striking program! This was a four week course designed to teach beginner martial artists the fundamentals they need for bag work, pad work, and partner drills. Everyone crushed it and I’m looking forward to seeing yall apply what you learned in the regular classes!

Our next program will be Intro to Muay Thai starting up in January. DM if you’d like more info or to put your name down - these classes are intentionally kept small so space will be limited! by @10kicks_seattle

Atención hispanohablantes! 🇪🇸🇲🇽🇵🇪🇻🇪🇨🇴🇦🇷

Si te interesa, dame un DM! by @10kicks_seattle

These are definitely their real answers to these real questions 🙂‍↕️

One week left of gi and then we’re putting away the pajamas for a bit!

Come check out a class!
All levels M/W/Th at 5 PM

CALLING ALL SPOOKY LADIES 🧙‍♀️🧹🎃🐈‍⬛

We’re hosting another women’s sparring party… slash costume party!! Come hang out from 1-3 PM on Halloween to get some fun, friendly rounds in. All levels and disciplines welcome. Bonus points if you spar in costume!*

*points are not redeemable for anything but it’ll be fun so who cares

No RSVP necessary but still appreciated so I can get a general head count💀 by @10kicks_seattle

New Ten Kicks Grappling rashguards are now available for purchase! Remember, it doesn’t matter if you suck at jiu jitsu as long as you look cool 🤙🏻 Rep the team at your next comp or when Iani is bullying you in the gym (may or may not be based on personal experience).

The TKG rashguard goes for $50 and sizes 2XS through 6XL are available. These have a true-to-size, relaxed fit. Each one is made to order so please allow a couple weeks for shipping. Shoot me or @10kicks_seattle a DM with your size to order, or catch us in the gym! by @10kicks_seattle

I love when women pick up other women… and then throw them on the ground 🥰🥋

Ju-don’t know what you’re missing if you don’t come to the women’s grappling class on Sunday mornings at 10! All levels welcome!

BUT NO GIGGLING EVER!!! 👹

(No class this weekend though so… come next Sunday lol) by @10kicks_seattle

Congratulations to Monica, @heavy_duty.1 @yohan_choi @arthurrvartanyan and @williamshirleyre for their well-earned stripes on their belts (or fingers). It’s exciting to see you all progress and make your way closer to that elusive blue belt so we never have to see you again 😌🥳

Remember, if you didn’t get a stripe this time around, it doesn’t mean you’re not progressing. Keep putting in the time and effort on the mats and we’ll see the rest of y’all up there soon 🫡 by @10kicks_seattle

By the way, the correct answer to the polar bear one is ENOUGH TO BREAK THE ICE 😩

Gi shenanigans continue today at 5 - come *roll* through 🤪
