Our trip to Iowa to visit Bri’s family was spent playing cards, eating home cooked meals, and hunting pheasants. 13 miles on our boots and no pheasant to show for it BUT we’ve got 2 happy dogs and 2 sore hunters. I would do it all again! by @10twin

Yesterday, I got to be a part of a Burning for Birds Field Day in Ellaville, GA. I got to see landowners, who had never utilized prescribed fire, use their first drip torch. Thank you Mr. Harrison for providing this opportunity, and the many partners that made this happen (Georgia Conservancy, GFC, WCGFLA, Birds Georgia, GA DNR PLP, NRCS, GFA and more).

Prescribed fire reduces hazardous fuel loads, recycles nutrients, controls hardwood encroachment, improves wildlife habitat, promotes biodiversity, and enhances timber quality. As a natural disturbance, it resets vegetation and creates early successional habitat rich in grasses and forbs that provide food and cover for a wide variety of wildlife. In addition, prescribed fire remains one of the most cost-effective land management tools available in a time when expenses continue to rise. Landowners across the Southeast should embrace prescribed fire as a proven practice to keep forests healthy, productive, and resilient for generations to come! by @10twin

After Ansley proposed in Chattanooga, I knew I had to do something special for her. She deserves a moment too. So I thought, what better way than to surprise her with a sunrise photoshoot at her favorite place in the world. I love this family of mine 💜🌅

Thank you so much @pros__photos for the incredible pictures! 📸 by @10twin
