When I landed back in Canada, my feed exploded with news about The Hunt for Gollum. Inspired by Philippa Boyens’ words in @empiremagazine describing it as a psychological adventure, I dove straight into exploring Aragorn at the start of that journey — nearly a decade before the events of the Trilogy.

After a week of almost no sleep and countless rewrites, I’m incredibly excited to finally present my interpretation of Strider. Huge thanks to @almiro and @mykristinalao @sonderacting for helping me shape and refine the piece.

I tried my utmost to find out who was casting this project but with no success — so now I turn to all of you. Aragorn has been my dream role since I was nine years old.

I believe in the power of the internet. Hear my call for aid.

If the tape resonates, I’d love for it to reach @andyserkis and the team bringing The Hunt for Gollum to life.

Special thanks to: @frontlinefirefilms @reneclaveau @natenathannathanielfast @sonny_hamwijk @mikeactualli @itsandreaabreu

Studies in Exposure — LLOYDD
This shoot turned into one of my most candid and intimate shoots challenging my creativity and pushing me out of my comfort zone. It was my first time shooting black & white digitally, and I was curious to learn how to interact with light and shadow better. An older and very talented photographer friend, who only shot B&W, told me that he always thought it was more dramatic than colour. Perhaps, there's a hint of truth in that ...(George the fish was not harmed in the making of this.)
