I wonder how many things we’ve talked ourselves out of because we were afraid we wouldn’t be good at them….

How many questions we didn’t ask because we thought we should already know the answer. How many opportunities we passed up because the thought of being the least experienced person in the room made us uncomfortable….

I know I’ve done it. I talk to people all day that can relate to this.

There’s something humbling about admitting you still have a lot to learn, especially when you’re used to being the person who has the answers.

I also wonder what we’re missing when we let our pride make those decisions for us. I’m thinking it’s a lot of magical stuff, actually.

Our Personal Growth Mastermind kicks off in January, and for ten weeks, we’re making room for the kind of growth that requires a little honesty with ourselves.

The uncomfortable questions. The conversations that make us think differently. The realization that maybe we have some work to do, too.

That's a wrap on the 18th edition of The 4 Day!
This is my 4th 4 day and the magic in the room never ceases to amaze me. Salon owners, managers, leaders all coming together with combined decades of knowledge, complete vulnerability, and an unbridled passion for the beauty industry!
