This is Lola. Lola Chico. A Petite Goldendoodle. She’s been in the family for 17 days! Everybody just loves her. She’s already stole so many hearts! We knew we’d get her since March 1 (2026) when she was born. After losing Lili, and recently Monty, this was a kind gesture from my brother and sister-in-law for our parents and the family. She’s so sweet. She’s the direct sibling of Charlie, my brother’s dog.

Her Birthday: Sunday March 1st, 2026

At the time of this post, she is 12 weeks old.

She was delivered via plane with her trainer Laura, on Thursday May 7th, 2026.

May Lili and now Monty rest in peace together! 🐾 ❤️‍🩹 Yesterday morning was one of the hardest things my family and I had to do. To let our sweet boy Monty of 16 years go into heaven. With Lili, I never had the chance to say goodbye. Monty was such a good wonderful spunky boy!

Saturday December 13, 2025 at 10:15am. Monty took his last breath at the Fox Lake Animal Hospital with his family right beside him. He’s running and playing with Lili up in heaven. The hardest part was letting him go, to rest in peace, and be with Lili. Now we’ll have 2 little spirits running around the house. I feel Lili at my feet once in a while.

“Say hi to Lili for us”
During his passing, I kept kissing his cheeks, holding his paws. Telling him thank you. That we love him. I’ll never forget him, as well as Lili. It’s never easy to say goodbye to the pets you love, because they become family. I lost Lili to a car accident several years ago, and I never had the chance to say goodbye.

He’s been in the family since 2011! He was a little younger than Lili. He was adopted by my sister and her ex husband. Although he spent most of his time with my parents and I.

Rescued from AEAR Animal Education and Rescue in Libertyville, IL. I still have the picture of when they posted him on their website. He was unsure of humans, and didn’t trust easily because of where he was rescued from. He ended up being the best little dog anyone could ask for, alongside Lili. by @125rickc

Happy Friday y’all! Summer is basically over. Hello Fall. Doesn’t this look great in the wild, on an overcast day! These are the colors that pop out in the Fall. Enhance this look with the holographic when and if the sun pops out.
