At first, I didn’t know where to begin until I found a black feather vest, the piece that inspired this entire project. At the beginning, I imagined something related to an eagle; then I thought of times of war, until I arrived at the crow. I took as reference the goddess of war, Morrigan, who could take its form (the crow) to announce victory or defeat, giving it the meaning of transformation and destiny.

But I didn’t realize it was connected to my own life story until, throughout the process, I understood that everything had to do with me. Why this theme? I asked myself. And then I turned to look at my past, at the position I am in now—and it all made sense.

It represents the death of a woman who used to put others before herself; who kept quiet not to cause drama; who thought she was crazy, whose words had no value, whose dreams were impossible; who believed she was just a poor little rich girl—in her mind; who lived to please others and simply did not exist. There was no peace, no silence, no truth, and much less love.

Now, I know the divine, and I can only thank myself and God for having transformed into who I am. After all, if it weren’t for that, I wouldn’t be where I am today: in Italy, studying fashion. Pffff… I never expected it.

Beyond a final project, this was a manifestation to myself—that I’m going all in. This time, with no fear of anything or anyone. Alone or accompanied, I will defend my voice and claim my truth; my intuition is my most powerful weapon, and I will not silence anything that torments me.

Every decision I make in the present transforms me and takes me toward my destiny—one I live every day, in my everyday life.

I am deeply grateful for this super fun experience, filled with emotions, learning, and the joy of working with an amazing team. Much love <3
